I almost never do a review, but I was so disappointed with the food that I couldn't let it go. Ordered an aloha plate and garlic noodles with shrimp via yelp recommendations.Garlic noodles with shrimp: noodles were salty but still edible. Was very surprised on how little shrimp was added on. 6 pieces of regular size shrimp for additional 6.50. The noodles were little over 9. Doesn't make sense that for 2/3 the price of the noodles, you get 6 bites of protein. Inflation must be hitting hard.Aloha plate: mac salad was not good. It was bland and watery. Mixed green salad was okay, not much different from store bought. The pineapple orange sauce chicken was way too salty. Almost inedible. Also tasted like orange chicken from a Chinese takeout place with some extremely salty pineapple sauce on top. If it's not implied, it does not taste like Hawaiian food.TLDR: food way too expensive and too salty. Does not taste like Hawaiian food.

We were in the mood for Hawaiian and went here. It was our second time and besides being a bit expensive, the food was good, so we were looking forward to it. My wife wanted garlic noodles and wanted to add the shrimp to it. Based on past photos from customers on Yelp, we thought we were going to get the jumbo shrimp, but the picture shows what we got instead. A few measley mini shrimp with some garlic on it, for $6.50 extra. When I took it up and asked, the girl said that's what it comes with, and when I showed her pictures, she insisted that's what it is. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she says there are none. I couldn't take it out on her, she's useless, but it pissed me off and I won't be coming back. Rip someone else off.

Appeared to be closed, despite visiting today (sun) around 2pm. Lights were off, tables inside were mostly removed, a few sparse ones remaining. No one to be found, doors were locked.

The people are nice but the food is overpriced and mediocre. The mac salad has a WEIRD taste like an artificial lemon/ lime seasoning. Hawaiian mac salad is not hard to make but this one was a let down.

Got there about 11:12, door was still locked and employee in the lobby still wiping down tables....ok fine, I'll wait. When she finally came over to unlock the door, she was having a hard time with the lock, like a really hard time. When she got the door unlocked, she held it open, I spoke, she said nothing, just smiled. Not a big deal, but if I speak, SPEAK BACK!!! Ordered the Pineapple Coconut Wontons and here comes another problem. She then was having issues with the register ringing up my order for me to pay. My order was done before I paid, because of the system, taking it's time...I guess. When my total popped up on the screen, it was much higher than I expected. Then I realized, it auto populated a tip on there. Anyone not paying attention, can easily miss that, and I'm one of those people that goes through prompts fast. But I knew my total should have been in the $8 range and it was $10 and some change. When I took the tip off, it went back down to $8. They are one of those places, that charge for using a card as well. On the other hand, the wontons were good.

Service was great. Place is standard, clean also. Food was just okay for me. The pineapple chicken plate was definitely not to my liking. Chicken teriyaki was good tho. Mac salad has corn, new to me but was good.

The price for Island food always seems to be higher then most other types of food. The place was pretty good to be honest. I was surprised with there version of Mac Salad and that meaning it had corner and it was on the sweeter side of things. The service at first was kind of weird as we were standing there after looking at the menu and stood right under the "Order Here" sign and the chick at the cashier which was located under the "Pick Up" sign and just looked at us. The inside of the restaurant makes you thing it's island themed.

I have been looking for Hawaiian food nearby and this is my favorite! Esp loved the calamari rings, they were so delicious and not tough like other places. Service was great and it was in an easy to get to location. I will definitely be stopping by again to try more of their menu in the future.

The food was very good. A bit pricier side but non the less I enjoyed the meal. The service was good I was looking for more of a background story of the location is the owners are local braddah & sistas to the island... it was a very inviting place

They have a huge menu it's so hard to choose. There's a build your own meal section - can make spring rolls, a bowl with rice, noodle or greens, or a baguette sandwich. You can get Huli- huli chicken, Katsu, musubi, poke and short ribs...They also have some interesting snack- sides and desserts.Really enjoyed the Katsu with curry. I had told the owner once, and I definitely came back for it. My kids like the garlic noodles too. Will come back !Mahalo plenty for the ono grindz!
