Ogopogo Brewing

Tried the Haliya - Ube Dark Ale and it was one of the most unique flavors I've tasted. Their menu had a few other creative flavors that I need to come back and try. Service was good and quick with a knowledgeable staff and a cozy area to sit and talk. I'll be back to try the stouts.

There are a few breweries in Haven City but this one was close to where we got our food. I guess this is just a satellite location to their main brewery in the city of San Gabriel. I got the a Mango Wheat and my wife for a michelada. Both were good and only cost $7 which I didn't think was a bad price. Overall, I think we would go here again when we visit.

Checked out Ogopogo today (Nov 16) and have to admit the staff noticeably addressed the comments. Their menu now showcases 2 samples per person, and the staff were super friendly and patient. This is especially encouraging and welcoming for people who may feel intimidated for being the infrequent or less educated enjoyer. I tried their Harmonia (mango wheat) and Drude (Marzen) but settled on the Haliya, an ube coconut mix - no thanks to a friend ordering the Harmonia. Both their Harmonia and Haliya are hits with me - unfortunate as this might start an expensive hobby. From passing conversations, they don't seem to have much on the darker side but have a good variety of lights and fruity.Overall would definitely recommend giving Ogopogo a try next time at Haven City Market.

Loved their brew with coconut! Thank you Gin for introducing me to their brew. A luscious sort of velvety allure to this particular pour. Not too hoppy with the perfect citrus to touch of sweet finish. Loved that hit of coconut. On an empty stomach two of these bad boys can getcha! Located inside haven city market from the main entrance head towards the left it'll be all the way in the back tucked in the corner. Great staff! Nice designated seating area and bar, bright and welcoming. Definitely will be back to try more of what they have offer.

Stopped by today & although beer isn't my choice in drink, their selection was really nice & we sampled a lot. Everything was good, especially the bartender's service & we'll definitely be back!

I really like Ogopogo brewing in San Gabriel and was excited they were opening a tap room here in Haven City market food hall. So had to try when they opened. They don't offer tastings at this location for now. Today I had the Haliya which is an ale made with ube and coconut. If you are a fan of ube you might like it. I did. Parking for Haven is a bit crazy on the weekends.

Located in the corner of Haven City West Covina, Ogopogo Brewing has a small list of beers on draft. I appreciate they allowed tasters of 2 beers so I tried their Haliya and Boeman. The Haliya had a nice purple color with a prominent coconut flavor. I ended up playing it safe with the Harmonia (Mango wheat). It was okay, nothing too spectacular to write home about. The beer selection overall in this food hall is average.

I am a regular at the OG Ogopogo in San Gabriel. Good to see that things are going well and they expanded. The tap list is smaller than the SG location but they do have their staple beers and cans to go. Service was good and decent amount of seating.

I just got one hazy IPA drink to get with my meal and i liked it, it was definitely cloudy, modestly bitter and orangey in taste like expected. It could've been allot colder though

As i perused the many choices at the Haven City Market, i came upon Ogopogo brewing and stoped in to talk with the very friendly servers. I had with me, food from another vendor, so i ordered a beer to compliment my meal. I ordered the Ube ale W/ coconut witch tasted great with my Brazilian meat combo from another vendor. Purple beer with an amazing coconut finish, perfect for your last beer of the night, like dessert! The servers were really friendly and the seating is made with oak barrel tabletops. Definitely check them out! I will be back soon to try more beers.
