Ocampo's Restaurant

We came here on a whim after the place up the street was an hour wait. We didn't even know Ocampos was here! Now. This is our place. For sure. Hands down. So. Good. The service was friendly. The food amazing.

Food-- used to be decent. They changed the menu a while ago. The food is not as good but is way more expensive! Which, to be honest, I really don't care about if the service were good, even decent.Service--depends, well not really. It's all bad. Some are nice, like the younger girl who can try and be polite so are the younger men who do a good job of being friendly. The older woman tends to be short and acts like--almost like you are a burden to her. She can be very rude; sometimes she tries to be nice, but it seems very forced and fake. She is the reason I will never go back to that h3ll hole.Really, I don't mind if they are nice or not. What really bothers me is the wait. They are always so slow. It doesn't matter if they are busy or not; you will wait. It almost seems like it's on purpose, especially with the old lady. She will walk right past you 10 times and not acknowledge you. One time during the summer, I had to cool off outside before I could eat my food. And when I got back in, I wasn't able to finish.The only reason I'm writing this is because the last time I was in there we waited forever to eat and the old lady was so rude I told my wife we would never come back. I also really appreciate GOOD service but really really hate bad service.My family and I will never go back to odumpos.

DON'T COME HERE!!!I gave this place 4 chances...Food ok !!!but service is terrible!!!!!Especially by the really short guy ...He treated me like poop every single time...I was kind to him. I Said please and thank you when needed . But looking at all the reviews and talking to my Neighbors, the workers here are poopy and unkind people...Please don't come here... Tried this place for breakfast as I heard good things. We were seated quickly, The chips came along with salsa. I really enjoyed these. Next we ordered and waited. The food came out hot, but I was disappointed as my omelette was burnt ( or well, well done) it wasn't bad, but I really didn't enjoy it. The prices are average, so I will cross this place off my bucket list. Once And done

Food prices have gone up but the portion sizes have gone down. I paid $38 for 1 meal and 1 a la carte burrito. The burrito was half the size they usually are. I used to love this place but they are dead to me now.

Service sucks, servers are rude, food sucks don't recommend. Chile relleno was decent. Chile verde was terrible chewy and didn't have much flavor. They forgot my soup I ordered. Enchilada cheese wasn't even melted

My wife and I have been going to Ocampos for a while now. The last time we went, we noticed that it became very expensive for mediocre food. I ordered the hardshell tacos and when I asked for salsa to put on those dry tacos, they charged me extra for salsa. This is just bad business and they lost some long time customers so that they could charge extra for their mediocre salsa.

Wife and I first time coming to this restaurant. We love places like this, the music wasn't super loud but you can hear it. Great services and fast! We have been to many places but the food quality is very authentic! Not knocking on other establishments but the flavor and atmosphere feel like home. The servers make you few welcome. Most definitely will comeback here to try out the other items on the menu.

Weak weak weak $20 margarita and $8 for chips and salsa because we shared fajitas, which has a star by it that stands for a shareable meal. Fajitas had bouncy, chewy chicken. Chile Verde was good. Carne Asada was ok. Way too expensive for a hometown hole in the wall. Service not great, server came by maybe twice and no personality at all. Disappointing experience.

Went from five to one star in six months. Avoid this place like the plague. Almost $200 for five people. No alcohol. They charged $16 for a basket of chips. I will never go back to this place again. They should be finned for extortion. Not disclosing Ludacris prices then flipping a bill like that on your table. I would give them zero stars if I could. Doing business like that there will be no oxampis in six more months.
