Myung Ga Tofu & Korean BBQ

I was craving kimchi stew the other day and found Myung Ga Tofu & Korean BBQ in San Bernardino. It was late toward closing, so I ended up ordering take-out. Upon arrival, the restaurant looked very big and open inside and I would have loved to dine in, but it felt like a "grab a bite and watch movies at home," kind of night. The kimchi stew was satisfying, but I found the kimchi to be on the sweeter side which I'm not really crazy about. There was a good amount of tofu inside, but the pork was thinly sliced. I would have preferred thicker cuts of pork belly. Also I appreciate that they gave me sides, but it's kind of a waste of a container by not filling the sides up more. There was like a creamy pasta salad that was really good, but I only got two bites out of it.

I had high hopes for this place because the interior was pretty decent and looked pretty similar to those in Ktown LA. But the service and food was not it.The waitress handling our food looked like she did not want to be here and seemed annoyed when we asked for radish banchan. It also took a long time for us to get our food despite there being barely anybody dining when we went.The banchan we got was probably some of the worst I've ever had. The worst was the fish cakes, they felt old and hard. The veggies seemed like they were sitting out for a while, were bitter, and seemed store bought. We got one can of Milkis each for $4.99 which is pricy considering many restaurants in LA sell them for way cheaper. I got the cold noodle for my main and it was pretty disappointing. The flavor was not great, but the noodle seemed fine I guess. I wish there was at least one piece of meat in it. I also tried my friend's black bean noodle dish and it was alright. The food was not the best.I don't think I would ever want to come here again.

Food was good. We discovered this Christmas Eve heading out on a road trip. Pleasant surprise since most places were closing. Staff was very friendly. Clean atmosphere

I recently visited and ordered two stone bowl bibimbabs to share with a friend.While the dish was overall flavorful,we encountered an issue with one of the ingredients. Midway through the meal,we noticed that the zucchini had gone bad,which affected the taste.We had to remove the spoiled zucchini from the dish,and while one of us finished their portion,the experience was disappointing.

The jjajangmyeon was awful. The noodles were overcooked so they were mooshy and the sauce had a horrible flavor. The other people in my party got the chicken bulgogi and ordered mild but it was super spicy to the point they couldn't eat it. The banchan was not very good and they never once offered us more.

Visiting from out of town. Ambiance and music were ok. Nice and clean. Service decent. Food was meh.... Probably would've been better if anything we got was actually hot. Flavor was ok. Tofu soup was watered down and barely hot so I didn't bother to put our raw egg in it. Even our meats order like the Kalbi and Bulgogi wasn't sizzling on the sizzling plates. Not hot at all and barely warm.... Do not get the so called mixed tempura appetizer! Cheap quality and not at all tempura style. Maybe the shrimp was but you can tell it wasn't a fresh one. Squid ring that was fried wasn't done enough and the batter was disgusting and raw.... The whole appetizer was not hot at all. Seriously who ever is back there cooking the food needs to temp everything. This place lacks on flavor and can't cook anything properly. Again the servers were nice and that's why it's a two star. Food was overall not that great....

I think the owners are different again. I orderedMy usual SDB and it is NOT good at all. My husband ordered the sangyupsal, we waited 35minutes for it but the food was mot hot when it was brought out. It came with a side salad -WITHOUT a dressing bec they said they ran out hahaha!!!! I don't think we will come back. What a waste of our money! The food used to be so good.

Got a combo "seafood" tofu soup and bulgogi. But the soup is literally A TOFU soup. It said seafood but only like 5 little clam with one shell and nothing else. No egg. No shrimp or other seafood. Wow....... Terrible Never do the Togo again!

The food was a disaster. The side dishes tasted old, the soup was water down and if you waited about 10 minutes you could see the water and spices separate. As for the galbi, they only give you 5 pieces of meat according to them. On the menu, it says you'll get a less quantity with the combo but you're paying $30 for 5 pieces of galbi and water down soup. Please avoid going here, you will find somewhere better.

After we ordered food, we waited for twenty minutes and the food is still not coming. We asked the server and he said he forgot to order. Then we waited another 30min for the dish. The beef tasted like fake meat and the dishes are cold while it was coming. The experience was so terrible because of the server's mistake and the food is bad too.
