The food was good but I had just activated my credit card and I used my brand new credit card for the first time here and later in the day attempted to use it again and it was declined. Called my CC company and they said someone tried to make an internet purchase from the Fontana area and it was flagged. Nobody else had access to my brand new credit card except whomever I handed it to at the drive thru so......This happened 2-19-25. Card was cancelled and reissued a new one. lesson learned.... Apple Pay or nothing from now on. Still giving 5 stars because the owners shouldn't be penalized for employees actions.

We decided to give this place a try since we were in the area. I first heard about Mr. J's through Instagram influencer Obieats and came mainly for the chili cheese fries with pastrami. At $12.99 for a large, the price was reasonable, and the three of us shared it along with some fried zucchini and cheeseburgers. The chili fries were a bit salty but generously portioned, with a massive pile of pastrami on top. The burgers were comparable to those from any typical charbroiled burger spot--nothing unique--but based on the steady flow of customers, it's clearly a local favorite. Overall, it's a solid choice if you have a big appetite and want a satisfying meal without spending too much.

I had a very good turkey burger here today, with excellent seasoned fries. The woman at the counter was very friendly and the servce was quick. There is a fast food/diner feel to the place and the pricimg was very reasonable. I would definitely come back!

Just bought a sausage and a bacon burrito but where's the bacon and sausage on these two?? I did not order all hash brown burritos!! We're very disappointed today. We've always thought highly of this place but please don't let this be your downfall, at least from us. Don't take over the, "Where's the Beef," or whatever it may pertain to, slogan .Do better.

I was really craving a BLT, so my husband went out to get us sandwiches. Our first thought was Farmer Boys, but he decided to try Mr. J's instead. He specifically asked for a BLT with soft bacon, not crispy, and even paid an extra $4.78 for additional bacon and $0.75 for ranch. What we got was the complete opposite--extremely crispy bacon, not extra at all, and definitely not what we ordered.By the time my husband got home, it wasn't even worth going back to fix it. It's disappointing because we were really looking forward to it. I wish I had taken a picture to show the discrepancy. The order clearly said extra bacon, and although the lady spoke in Spanish, my husband thinks she acknowledged the request for soft bacon. Unfortunately, the end result didn't reflect that.I'll be giving one star because I have to in order to leave a review, but this experience was very frustrating.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy and there was plenty of seating available. Ordered the following:Cheeseburger - it was pretty big for my portion size. Very fulfilling. The meat was good and the ratio of veggies and meat. Fries - I prefer the smaller fries in my opinion. But these were good too. Chicken nuggets kids meal - the whole meal was mid. Nothing special. Churros - almost no cinnamon and sugar, hardly anything at all.

Just got a sausage breakfast burrito that is supposed to have ground sausage and it has cut up links and I asked for easy hash browns this burrito is by far the worst I have ever had very little egg no flavor what so ever... false advertisement people I'm am super disappointed with this place

Friendly staff very informative and attentive Plenty of Booths and tables can accommodate large groups. The cheeseburgers are full of Flavor, zucchini is amazing definitely suggest trying them, regular fries are tasty. Moving on to what brought us in, the Pastrami Chili Cheese Fries, they were disappointing as the chili was extremely greasy saturating the fries so much for ordering the fries crispy they ended up soggy, however the pastrami is good. The picture below is after I stuck 4 napkins on the bottoms to soak up the grease. The post from Instagram on these was misleading his were nowhere near what I was served . I wouldn't order these again.
