Exceptionally delicious Food. Everyone loved it! Our church had our annual family Christmas party. We ordered their catering package #3. Got the brisket, pork ribs, and the smoke chicken. Being part of the planning committee, I've received many compliments on our choice of food. They all loved the brisket and the cheesy potato went really fast. This was our first time ordering and we are so pleased. Thank you for making a season's celebration feast one of our best ones yet.

Morning Wood has gotten good word of mouth for their smoked turkeys around the holidays. People flock six weeks to order before Thanksgiving and Christmas for their feast. So I'd recommend to plan ahead. This past Thanksgiving, the smoked turkey did not disappoint! Beautiful smoked color, juicy, tender, just the way my guests and I like it. So consistent in flavor to the previous year. I also got to taste some of their dishes at recent event they catered. My favorite was their BBQ brisket. The way it's seasoned and cooked, in my opinion, is perfection. I can't think of any other place that makes it better! Everything I tasted was so darn good from the macaroni and cheese to the beans. I know they've placed high at many competitions over the years...after tasting their lip smacking finger, licking food, it makes sense!This will be my go to catering when I want BBQ.

What can I say except, their food is EXCEPTIONAL!! Let's start with, Robert's communication is top notch. We spoke on the phone about my event while he was standing in a field in Michigan at another event he was cooking for. He's very responsive whether via phone, text or email. We live in the San Bernardino Mountains, where our party was. My husband and I were celebrating 20 years together and my 50th birthday, so we had a huge party! My husband has been barbecuing and smoking (meat) as long as we've been together and his food is delicious, but I took one bite of Roberts BBQ and leaned over and said, "I think his might be better than yours" and my husband's reply, "I think so too"... Anyway, Robert, drove his big, huge trailer up the mountain, in the rain and fog, and set up and provided THE most incredible food to us and our guests, IN THE RAIN AND COLD, all with smiles on their faces. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about him, his family (helpers) and food, and neither could our guests. We were hearing ALL NIGHT how fantastic the food was, while we watched our friends and family go back for seconds, coming back with piled on plates. Robert, I can't thank you and your beautiful wife enough for being a part of making our day a VERY memorable, epic celebration.

Bob did it again!Everyone loved the smell and taste of Christmas Dinner. We had Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, Cheesy Potatoes, Bourbon Baked Beans, and Racks of Ribs. We've been buying Holiday Meals from Bob for years and he never dissappoints! AWESOME FOOD, GOOD VALUE, and Always Ready on Time!HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any occasion!Thank You Bob!!!!

Morning Wood Barbeque really came through for my work party. The brisket was juicy and so tender. The sides were delicious as well. These guests drooled over the cheesy potatoes, the bourbon beans and peach cobbler too. Thank you for making me look so good to my Board of Directors and CEO. We hosted a celebration of life gathering and were incredibly lucky to have Robert's incredible barbecue catering services. His barbecue was outstanding, ranging from the brisket to the cobbler. The presentation and service were top-notch. Robert's communication was excellent, from the initial inquiry all the way through the event. He liaised with the venue, arrived early for setup, and stayed on-site to ensure every guest was well taken care of. We received glowing reviews from the guests who subsequently hired him as well. We definitely will hire him again for the best barbecue we have ever tasted!

Outstanding!!! Delicious!!! Dazzling!!!Morning Wood Barbeque made our son's graduation party unforgettable! Pulled pork and cheesy potatoes were scrumptious but, the Brisket...the award winning Brisket... had our 250 guests coming back for more! Bob and his staff came all the way from California to Michigan to cater for us! We can hardly stand the wait until we can have them back to cook for us again next summer!
