We were in the area for a doctor appointment (usually out here every other month) and was in search of a yummy food spot. We love Hawaiian BBQ and Moon Grill did not disappoint!! We were very impressed with the quality of food offered here. They just opened last month and still are in their soft opening. This is a fast/casual establishment and not a full service restaurant. You can place your order with a staff OR at one of the 2 self-ordering kiosks at the counter. Upon our first visit, the customer service has been pretty good! They staff were very kind and brought our take-out food to us as we waited at the tables. The interior is clean and inviting. Food pics of the items offered caught our eye ESPECIALLY the BEEF BONE RIBS -- an absolutely must must must get protein. The plate comes with 3 perfectly grilled ribs and the meat falls off the bone. So tender, juicy and delectable! The price was definitely decent at $18. I hope they keep this price still! We also ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Beef plate and a side order of 5 pieces of Cajun Garlic Shrimp ($10.90). Both great mouthwatering choices and the cut of beef is ribeye! I must say I was amazed by their Mac Salad. Although it is just a tad bit on the sweeter side but it is delish - creamy and so tasty! My new 2nd favorite place next to Shootz. Ahh, I can't wait for us to return back here. Going to have to order extra extra to bring back home :) If you're in the area do check out Moon Grill! Soft opening. Service was great. Location was off the freeway in large Plaza. Place was nice and clean. We ordered beef ribs, bbq beef and chicken katsu, double mac salad on all. Beef ribs were the best item. They were meaty and filling. They were a bit cold for my liking and the flavor was ok. A bit salty.Bbq beef was not that great. It was salty and a bit overcooked. Chicken katsu was good, tender and flavorful. They didn't have katsu sauce.Mac salad was different than traditional. Tasted a bit grainy.Overall, the food was a C+, the service was an A and the ambiance an A.

4.3 Stars! I got the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and Furikake Chicken with Mac salad.Both were tasty. Putting the teriyaki sauce on my macaroni salad mad it super tasty with the chicken. The Furikake Chicken was crispy with garlic, shoyu soy sauce and a little sweet taste to it. I liked all of it.Easy service at the counter. Order, pay and find your seat at an open table.Ambiance would be fast food style of place. It's a new place so it's clean and comfortable setting. I would recommend this place to others and I would come back to try more entrées.

Beef bone ribs plate 5/5Cajun garlic shrimp 5/5Spam musubi 5/5---Stopped by for a quick dinner, and wow, did it exceed expectations! We ordered the beef bone rib plate, Cajun garlic shrimp, spam musubi, and the most refreshing lemon ice tea. The aroma alone had us salivating, and the food didn't disappoint. Every dish was packed with flavor and the beef bone rib was fall off the bone tender! The service was impeccable, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable! Let's not forget about the ambiance, it was cozy and inviting a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend this spot, a must try if you're in the area!

They're still in their soft opening, located in the Food 4 Less plaza. The inside is clean with a good amount of seating.They do sell poke bowls but they mostly have Hawaiian platters of grilled chicken, bbq beef, beef short ribs, fried katsu chicken, fried Cajun garlic shrimp with shell on. I chose to get the most fancy one, Make it Bougie ($29.90) which is a whole beef rib, grilled chicken, lobster tail, and 4 fried Cajun garlic shrimp. It came with a side of rice and macaroni salad. All of the meat was tender, the beef rib was easy to cut into with a plastic knife. Not too fatty with a good amount of meat. The chicken was moist and the sauce it came with was not too salty. Lobster tail was already removed from the shell and it was tender. I do like the crispy shrimp with Cajun garlic butter. It was crispy enough that the shells and tail can be eaten, they gave enough sauce for all the shrimp and the size of them were good.The staff is nice and they take card.

New Hawaiian spot near Chino. We ordered the Cajun Shrimp and the Got Beef ComboNegatives:-taste, the galbi (short rib) was a little lacking in flavor compared to other places we've tried.Positives: -taste, there was great flavor for the bbq beef and the beef rib. The meat was very tender for all the beef cuts we had. The Cajun shrimp didn't quite taste like the one I had in Hawaii, but it was good nonetheless. It was extra crispy and the sauce enhanced the complexity of the flavors. -service, for a quick service spot they were very nice and helpful. They asked us about the food, if we liked it, and if we needed anything.-ambiance, straightforward and quick service style.-value, we got plenty of food and meat for the dishes we ordered. For the amount of beef we got, it was a great price. Same was with the shrimp. Hopefully, the value of the food continues to stay good as things start to get better in the economy.Overall 5/5We didn't know that they were only open for a week. It was still a soft opening in a sense, the food was cooked to order so the food comes out hot and fresh. We'll definitely be back to try the poke and furikake chicken.

What a unique take on Hawaiian BBQ! I got the "Got Beef Combo" but man, that "Make it Bougie" was so enticing with that lobster tail, will definitely try that next time. The rice is amazing, with their Cajun sauce especially, Mac is super tasteful without being crazy heavy, and the beef, OMG, it was so tender. Rib bone is a MUST. My only critique was that the BBQ beef were in huge pieces, so it was super hard to chew in one bite, would preferred it cut into smaller pieces.The ambience is great, the place feels new, with really comfortable seating. The service was also great, what I assume were the owners were SUPER nice and even gave me a free iced sweet tea (which btw, was ungodly, what in the world did they put in it? I would come back here JUST for that tea). Overall a must try, I could definitely taste the Cajun style in their Hawaiian BBQ as well as a slight Asian influence in the flavors.

Service was friendly over the phone and in person. Very professional and clean restaurant. I loved the open space, it was a nice clean ambiance. It felt fresh. The food was ready when I arrived 10 minutes after calling it in. The flavor of the food was delicious and fresh. I loved the quality and the texture. I was satisfied with the overall price and will be going back.

Best ribs I ever had , falls off the bone and seasoned to perfection . Will definitely be coming here often
