My partner and I were visiting Pomona and needed to find something with both vegan and meat and low carb options and Miss Sichuan did not disappoint!! We got a lot of stuff because we were really hungry. We shared an order of the noodle soup that could be made veggie and it was so good (medium spicy), our server Joanna let us swap the pork for bok Choy and it was such a big portion we had left overs. We also got the spring rolls which were fresh and delicious, the sweet and sour cucumber (the sauce was SO good ) the garlic bok Choy, and the soup dumplings. Everything was so fresh and we learned a hat they make the noodles in house. The prices were super reasonable and the portions were really big! We took a lot of left overs home.I would highly recommend checking this place out, there was no wait at 5pm on a Sunday and it had the cutest little environment on the outdoor patio! Shout out to our server Joanna who was really friendly and helpful!

What a cozy, charming spot! It gives the feel of a converted house, the welcoming and cute atmosphere makes it feel like you're sitting in Miss Sichuan's living room. Despite a full house, our amazing waitresses Joanna and Lily were so nice and made sure we were taken care of.We enjoyed the xiao long bao dumplings. They didn't have much soup inside but they were packed with juicy meat. The house beef noodle soup was a star! The cubed beef was tender and juicy, almost like the melt-in-your-mouth texture of birria meat. The shrimp fried rice was ok, and the milk tea was yummy. We ordered the dumplings and beef noodle soup spicy, but they weren't quite as spicy as we had hoped. They have an amazing side of chili in oil, which gave the dishes the kick it needed so be sure to ask for that if you like it spicy.- Parking is right next door- The place is cashless- Also note that the menu does mention photos are for reference only, so don't be surprised if dishes look a bit different than pictured.I almost wanted to gatekeep this gem, but it's too good not to share. We'll definitely be back! Xièxiè, Miss Sichuan!

In response to the owner who responded to my complaint: please inform your staff that tipping is customary so they do not try to hold customers hostage against not tipping when service is bad. It didn't seem like they understand. In regard to being a cashless establishment, please make sure there are clear signs and that your staff makes customers aware of the payment options BEFORE ordering not after. ****************BEWARE of this business! Stay far far away for your own sanity! As I'm writing this review, I'm currently also filing a complaint against the Better Business Bureau. I have never had to deal with a business that demanded tip and refused to give me change back for what I am owed. First off, I was swayed by the positive Yelp reviews, and since this place is nearby my work I figured I would give it a shot. Sadly, as someone who has had xiao long bao in various locations throughout SoCal and Asia, this was by far the worst tasting xiao long baos I've ever had. The frozen ones from Trader Joe's for $5 are even better than what Miss Sichuan serves here. The skin ripped apart, some were also already ripped in the steamer, and the meat inside is chunky and falling apart. Clearly it's been steamed for far too long and not quality food. For $11.99 this is overpriced garbage. There's so many other restaurants like LA Kung Fu Noodle in Claremont and 1st Dumpling in Montclair nearby that serve quality food. I also asked for fresh ginger and a huge red flag was that they didn't have any here. The lady mentioned they just chop up ginger that is already in the sauce. However, not only was the food horrible so was the service. My bill came out to be $13.22 and the lady would not give me my change back after giving her $15. In fact she demanded tip from me. She had initially also pressured me into ordering more food since I didn't meet the $15 credit card minimum but I mentioned I had cash on me so I didn't have to use my credit card. None of this was ever disclosed to me prior to ordering food. Anyway this lady insisted there's no change in the restaurant so I wouldn't be getting any change back and since I HAD to tip her anyway I shouldn't get anything back. Since Miss Sichuan is basically counter service and take-out, I don't even understand how they could be demanding tips and generally tips are not mandatory BUT customary. I had such a headache arguing with her that I just left without getting my change back. I also did NOT pay the suggested gratuity of 18% on the receipt and she tried to go after me as I walked out. I would never return back and highly suggest everyone to avoid Miss Sichuan at all costs. This place is breaking so many California laws that I have to report them now. They cannot operate treating their customers this way.FYI the menu photos look nothing like the food they actually serve in person. Pretty sure they use stock photos from the internet.

First of all, I want to say that the server was incredibly sweet and helpful. The restaurant is located in Pomona. The area itself is not the greatest and parking is limited, but you could park around the neighborhood. I got the spicy dumplings (8) for 10.99$ and the sichuan noodles for 10.99$. It's very cheap compared to other restaurants in the area and the portions are enough for two people (assuming the people eat a regular serving size of food). The sichuan noodles or the dumplings were not spicy at all. In my opinion, if you can handle a jalapeno you could probably handle this. Minus one star because I accidentally got charged $4 for extra beef when I did not order that. So just make sure to double check prices with your server. Overall, the food was great and the restaurant was very homey.

Just ate here with my family and the food was delicious. We ordered boba milk tea and the honey tea as well as the house special beef noodle bowl. The beef and noodles were so tender and flavorful. Super friendly service too! So excited to have this place in Pomona . Loved the outdoor seating and decor as well.

Such a great hole-in-the-wall find! Was craving dumplings & decided to take a bet here. I was not disappointed. The food was hot (temp) & flavorful. My sister & I didn't wait more than 10min for our food & drinks. Their staff member at the time we went was super sweet & he suggested items he thought we'd like. Best idea to take his recommendations.I do want to point out that their location has seating inside, but not too much & a few tables outside. Also, the parking is either on the street or (idk if they do this all the time) park in the auto shop lot next to them (look for a sign they have indicating if you can). Other than that, a great place & great find. Will definitely comeback to try the rest of the menu!

I found this place on yelp and it's very easy to Miss as it's the driveway right before you get to Orange Grove off of White. I came here for lunch for my birthday since me and my friend work locally so we decided to give this place a shot. They have a lot of great reviews.Cute tiny spot in Pomona. Hidden gem if you ask me. we ordered the chicken dumplings, the beef, fried noodles and shrimp fried rice. Everything was delicious. The shrimp fried rice had tons of shrimp in it. They did not skimp at all. However, the beef fried noodles only had five pieces of beef. Very small pieces at that. We were a little disappointed with that but other than that, everything was great.I also ordered a honey tea with Boba. It was very sweet so I had to add some water to it overall delicious food and most likely will be back. Also, keep in mind that these plates are shareable so feel free to order two or three items and share among friends.

This place is an absolute gem! I have been three times since I found out about them and every time it has been amazing. My husband, son and I have tried the pork and cabbage dumplings, shrimp pork and chive dumplings, the house spicy dumpling, sichuan special spicy noodle, the house special beef noodle, the spicy and sour cucumber and the bok choy. Every single thing we have tried made our tastebuds sing! My favorite is the house spicy dumpling with beef. Also, I can't say enough about Lily, the woman behind the food. She is incredibly sweet and provides excellent service. She makes everything to order so be prepared for a relatively short wait or just call your order in for pickup.I will be back here again and again and again!! I never want this place to leave Pomona, so please come and visit Lily for some dumplings!!

The food has great flavor but to put meat the size of a fingernail is not the business. I ordered beef noodles . The fried corn and chicken dumplings are excellent. Charge more for bite size beef or chicken or add bigger pieces. The staff is very friendly my second time eating there .This time on delivery no soup spoon or fork or chopsticks no condiments like chili was added to the bag.
