Milo’s Hawaiian BBQ

As someone who has worked in the food service industry for years, I know firsthand that the customer isn't always right--and that great food takes time. Milo's Hawaiian BBQ is hands down the best Hawaiian food I've ever had. I've tried other spots, but nothing compares to the flavor, freshness, and quality here. Every dish is made to order, and you can truly taste the care that goes into it.The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, hardworking, and patient, even when some customers come in with unrealistic expectations. I've seen people complain about wait times, but they don't realize that good food--especially fresh, authentic Hawaiian BBQ--isn't something you just throw together in seconds. It's well worth the wait.If you're looking for incredible Hawaiian food and great service, Milo's is the place to go. I'll keep coming back, and I recommend it to anyone who wants the real deal.

Came here during my boyfriend's lunch. He only has an hour lunch which is a long time. So we ordered around 12:15 to make sure we have enough time to eat. We didn't get our order at 12:40. There was no apology for the wait or thank you from the cashier. I got the loco moco and the patty and eggs were not seasoned. The food was very bland. My bf got the chicken katsu burger, and the bun was burned, the Katsu had no seasoning and the coleslaw was very sour. Will not be coming back

2025 MUST TRY! The best Hawaiian food in the area. My favorite is the chicken katsu combo - the crispy skin is delicate and airy, not full of batter and the chicken underneath is tender and juicy. Tip, they also let you sub rice for Mac salad, which I wish I did. The Mac salad is the right consistency and flavor - not too dry and not full of mayonnaise. Service is great, family owned and they care for their customers! Located in a busy food hall with lots of options for dessert as well!

Oh gosh I've been dreaming about the garlic shrimp plate for days now! It was so good. You might need to invest in Altoids after but it's worth the pain and suffering of garlic breathe!

I was at Haven City Market Rancho Cucamonga (HCM RC) to pick up some Thai foods from Sabaidee Lao & Thai Street Food. I passed by Milo's Hawaiian BBQ that had a Grand Opening sign. This used to be a hot dog place if I remember correctly. I guess they didn't make it unfortunately. Anyway, it turns out the owner of Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion is also the owner of Milo's Hawaiian BBQ. Good for them!I was excited to try out their Teriyaki Chicken plate so I got it. They were having a special on their Salmon plate like a few dollars off and I love salmon so I got it, too. I also got a frozen strawberry lemonade in virgin style. They do have the alcoholic ones, too. Teriyaki Chicken plate came out fairly quickly, but it took them a while to get the Salmon plate out for some reason. I didn't have an issue on the wait time since I was waiting on the other foods from the other restaurants.Salmon was perfectly cooked. Very nice! I guess the wait time was worth it. However, I didn't care for the macaroni salad... it had a weird taste to it... I can't explain it. As for the steamed cabbage, it was tenderly good, but wished there was more of it. I will ask for more cabbage and no macaroni salad next time. As for the chicken, it was slightly dry and the teriyaki flavor was very light. There are so many options to choose from but I don't get to eat Hawaiian bbq as much as the other cuisines. Their store front is vibrant, many decorations but also signs of specials you can order. The place just opened up in October, so I wanted to try the place and see how well their bbq and side dishes would be. The staff were pretty fast, we ordered the beef bbq combo and got ur food within 10minutes. Drinks were not included. The plate was pretty full, the beef was well seasoned and tender! Sauce was good, sweet and savory and goes well with rice and cabbage. Cabbage was bland but the sauce helps! Macaroni salad was good, could've used a little more salt but is good on its own already. Overall, nice plate of meat and is filling!

I recently visited Milo's Hawaiian BBQ at Haven City Market for the first time and ordered the #4 BBQ Combo Plate, which includes rice, macaroni salad, and cabbage. My meal was ready in about 10 minutes, and I appreciated the generous portion of tender, flavorful beef. The sides were decent, and the service was good. There is ample seating in front of the establishment. Next time, I'll try the #2 Premium Center Cut Kalbi Short Ribs and #6 Loco Moco Combo Plates.

Order The Hawaiian BBQ Chicken the chicken was hot and the rice was as cold as the Orange Crush without Ice ! The food was bland had no flavor all. I have had Hawaiian BBQ before taste like hospital food. Macaroni salad and cabbage was tasteless as well. I ask for Salt and Pepper the young man behind the counter said we don't have any! I will not be back should have just purchased 19 dollars worth of lotto tickets

Zero stars.The katsu chicken was burned to a crisp, almost no chicken. Very chewy and hard to eat. They didn't include the macaroni and still charged us for it. When we asked why we didn't get our macaroni they didn't offer a refund--just said that they ran out and apologized. The wait time for this bad food was very long as well.

While I was wandering around the market, I spotted this frozen lemonade machine that really caught my eye. (If you know me, you know I'm addicted to frozen drinks). I got curious and asked one of the employees if it had any alcohol in it, because I just wanted the frozen lemonade itself. It was so good! I loved that it wasn't too sweet; I'm all about that balanced flavor. I'm really glad I went for this refreshing drink because it totally made my trip to HCM even better!
