Mikey's Fry House

I had the Cod tonight because he was out of Catfish, I think I might like it more. I got home and it was still piping hot after 20 minutes when I was eating the last piece of fish. This is about the 10th time I've eaten there, and it's always consistent. He recently added fish tacos and has chicken strips for people who don't like fish. But I really don't like fish and love this place, so even if you think you don't like fish you should consider giving the fish a try. And he told me he hand cuts the chicken and I'm sure it's delicious (need to try)

Mikey knows his fish. Lots of choices of wild fish. He urged the sole and I know to go with the chef's suggestion. I was a bit worried because it's pretty easy to overwhelm sole with batter. Nope! Perfect, thin, crispy, lightly seasoned batter. I had it with the shrimp, which also were perfect. My husband had the catch of the day, striped bass, also excellent. The fries have a light dusting of seasoning. I had Mikey's sauce and my husband had the tartar sauce, both excellent. It's a food truck so the best thing about the ambience is that it was a one minute drive home so I could eat it while perfectly crispy.

Fast service, super friendly. This is my second time coming. The first time I ate it so fast couldn't take a picture. I ordered tilapia and shrimp. Super flaky, seasoned well. The fries were like any regular fries. He has a special sauce that is kind of spicy but taste good. My friend ordered catfish (not pictured) she initially did not like the way the food looked thinking her fish was beer battered and soggy. But nope, she loved it and not was it soggy. I will be back. The food was excellent and fresh it stayed hot until i got home. I had the Catfish and fries, the service was great and friendly.

This is my first time trying food from a food truck and I wasn't disappointed! I came here after work with my coworkers after seeing the food truck parked by Target. I'm glad they were parked by Target because I feel safer stopping at this area versus the gas station area I would usually see them at. We each got a plate and I had got the shrimp only platter because I'm not usually a big fan of fish. For the shrimp only plate it came with 10 fried shrimps, the seasoned crinkle cut fries, house made sauce, and a lemon for $23. Wow the batter and seasoning on the fried shrimp was delicious! I could taste Cajun seasoning in it. It had the right amount of spice and they were crispy. The shrimp is a pretty good size as well! I also enjoyed the house made sauce they have. The sauce had a nice tart and creaminess to it that made it compliment the shrimp and fries so much. The fries had some seasoning on them and were a thick crinkle cut. They were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Even though I don't like fish, seeing the way my coworkers were enjoying their fried fish made me want some, so I may try it the next time I see the food truck!

Sancho told me about this fish spot. So drove out to Riverside for the day. I'm very picky eater and especially about my fry'd fish, This place is so good it's cooked to order I had the cod fish and shrimp dish little heat but the batter is crunch, flavorful, fish was tender moist and let's say I ate everything so fast that I forgot to take some pics of my plate. Who would of thought that this little trailer could prepare and cook like a brick and mortar place.. We will definitely be back to try another dish.

Everything was great! Food is amazing. Service was prompt.Owner is keeps everything super clean. Best fish in Town!

I recently tried Mikey's for the first time and was impressed with the taste and speed of how fast my 3 orders came out. The trailer is nicely painted but Mikey himself is a no frills kinda guy obviously about his business and I truly can understand that part and I will continue to buy my fried fish and chips from him.

I wanted to try this for quite sometime. I finally got the chance and was disappointed. The food was delicious, but small portions for the price. I ordered cod fish and shrimp plate for $26. I received 4 shrimps and 3 small pieces of fish and fries. It looks like he cut the cod fish in half. I feel like I was ripped off. I will not be back..

Best fried fish and shrimp i've ever had! Nothing beats those season fries and friendly service! Mikey takes pride in his food and always has deals going on through the week!
