Still good- after all these years!Miguel's California Mexican Cocina always coming in clutch!Doggy friendly patio for well behaved dogs! The patio is a decent size too. Plus, they have heaters outside if you run cold. I ordered the bean tacos this time. They had bean and cheese inside, and were delicious! I added a side of rice and beans to make it a complete meal. It was great! My mom ordered the Caesar salad with no meat, and she enjoyed it. My dad ordered the lunch combination plate. He enjoyed it. Overall, good food, great service. Patio friendly for our dogs. Perfection for us!

Expecting to dine at Taps Fishhouse only to find it has since closed, we noticed Miguel's in the back. We didn't expect to eat Mexican food this day, but have dined at Miguel's, under a different mantra, so we said FINE!!! First thing we noticed was the very limited menu options for this lunch time opportunity. Next thing we noticed was several tables had ordered the Flautas. Of course we noticed the Flautas AFTER we just ordered. We were looking for something delicious, so opted for the decent Albondigas soup and the just OK Chili Relleno with very nothing flavored shredded beef taco plate that came with rice and . . . wait, where are the beans? The plate was tabled by the runner without the beans. The server brought them out after we were almost done with our meal. Service was a less than urgent. We also were missing a napkin roll we noticed after the chips and salsa we brought out. Our server showed up with the utensils just before our entree was delivered. This place seemed to be popular by the locals or other regular customers. The service staff seemed to interact with certain customers and also facilitated certain tables those customers were used to sitting at. Hmmm. Bottom line. It's not the Miguel's we expected and certainly not the same quality of establishment. Dicks

I got the menudo and the hominy was still hard + it was cold. However, everyone else seemed to really enjoy their food and it was a good experience! The outside is super cute with a river view and the service was good. Overall, decent experience.

A returning customer this weekend. Service is always good and food still excellent. Fresh warm chips and fresh salsa alone was addicting. Birria tender and juicy

Sadly I attempted to use the link provided by the owner and it did not work. It takes you to a page to select a location, then there is nothing to do past that. Should probably check the links before sending it or give steps how to properly complete.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this restaurant anymore. It seems that they are running a skeleton crew! They do not want to hire enough servers! There were only two servers one bartender that's running the outside and the inside of the restaurant. Employees looked extremely stressed out. This business is going to be out of business soon.!!!! The food is good, but it's so unfortunate that they rather only have one person attending to the customers! We will not come back to this restaurant.

We dined here around 2pm today on New Years Day. Our server was kind however you can tell they were understaffed. It took a while for the server to come out on the patio to take care of all her tables each time she returned. Several of us sat and waited for a while before we were helped. There was a busser who would come to clear the tables once people left but it seems she could've used help from a food runner as she was running all her own food while juggling a good amount of tables. Food was ok. You can tell it sat in the window for a minute. Same with my boyfriend's meal. The server did the best she could but could've been better set up for success with some help.

Great food, great service and great decor. I love this location by a lake. I also love that you can set up reservations. There are so many similar type restaurants that don't.To start off, the chips and salsa's really good, as are all of the starters. I absolutely loved the Birria Queso Tacos with Consume dipping sauce. The Chicken Mole and Carne Asada are also really, really good. And the Horchata is a must! It does get pretty hot out this way during the summer, but they have a good strong AC inside thank goodness.

We came here after shopping Dos Lagos. In the past we've tried Reunion, Rock & Brew and Fatburgers. We even walked past Roco Wine Bar today, but ended up deciding on Miguel's. It was a quiet day, around two o'clock, so we had the place to ourselves. We initially weren't sure what to make of Miguel's. It's a sit-down Mexican place, so was part of the fast food chain Miguel's Junior? Turns out they are in fact. We were seated in a big booth. Given Menus, some waters and Salsa & Chips almost immediately. Nice. Our server Ely was nice and pointed out the Lunch items on the Menu. We ordered some Lemonade and Iced Teas, along with the Lunch Fajita's and Beef Nacho's, see photos. Everything tasted fresh and we sat back and just eased into late meal. Good food and relaxing atmosphere. That works, right? Our bill came to $37.49 including tax, but before gratuities - which seemed fair. After coming here, we probably should give our local Miguel Jrs another try.

2 stars because service was good. The food however was bland not flavorful at all!!! Miguel's Jr the fast food place is better and cheaper. Regardless I do like the location you can go walk around the lake etc the ambience on the inside of the restaurant was nice.
