We've been eyeing this location since it first opened months ago. We've been to their other location that also serves pupusas :) We ventured out on a super rainy day because tacos would hit the spot. The menu is not entirely the same as the other location so we had to check it out first. We ordered 1 order of potato flautas (came with 3) and 2 shrimp tacos. The food came out in good time after ordering that evening. The decor is lively, bright and welcoming. There was a good amount of seating for the space available. We had a few questions and the lady at the cash register explained what the items consisted of with patience and a smile on her face. We told her it was our first time and she made sure our order would be made how we wanted it. The potato flautas were amazing! So simple yet delicious! I love me some potato flautas!! The salsas were yummy as well. I loved the avocado salsa. The shrimp taco was a bit messy to eat, but it went down the hatch one way or another! We'll definitely return to try other menu items! The bill was not bad at $20.65 (we didn't order any drinks).

Best Tacos in Town! Michi Tacos is hands down one of our favorite spots! Everything on the menu is amazing, but their Quesabirria tacos are absolutely unbeatable--by far the best we've ever had! The flavors are incredible, and the tacos are always fresh and packed with deliciousness. If you're in the mood for some seriously tasty tacos, Michi Tacos is a must-try. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Mexican food.

Our first experience was nil - because they were brand new, busy, we couldn't get in and didn't understand their menu, so we left.Next visit was a long time later - maybe over a year! We thought we'd try to struggle through the menu and still don't quite understand it. But we ordered! We had carnitas tacos. AMAZING. I have long missed the very first time I ever tried a carnitas taco, it was in West Covina at the mall - yummy. MICHI Tacos fit that bill BIG TIME. DELICIOUS. We've been back several times now for the same thing. HOWEVER, the drinks!! Again - we just don't get those jugs and hate can sodas. So, we opted for water. There was no ice. Just a small cup of water - how boring! The next time, we opted to eat outside so we could bring our own drinks. Sad. Eating outside was rough, as it was WINDY and stuff was all over the place. We'll still go back but are VERY disappointed in that drink situation. We do not drink any alcohol and don't want to experiment with those jugs of different colors and flavors at the price of drinks! But carnitas is a 5*.

My wife & I are in Love with these tacos! My wife is born & raised in Chula Vista, CA and would frequently visit the taco shops in Tijuana growing up. She knows tacos haha. But we are extremely happy to have stumbled on this amazing find. Everyone working there to make sure you have the best experience. The Queso Birria tacos are second to none! And we cannot wait to go back!

This is a hole in the wall establishment. You order at the counter and you get a number then your food is delivered to your seat if you can find one. This place gets busy fast. It's pretty small so plan on taking your food to-go just in case. My next first I'm going to try the quesadilla! It looked so good and cheesy! My food was so so delicious! To the point Ii wanted to eat it again the next day. I will admit I've only had a few burria tacos but this is by far the best! I'm not a shredded beef kind of guy but burria tacos have been an acception. I highly recommend this place and I recommend you eat it right away. It's best hot and fresh. I can see the shell getting soggy and the cheese hardening if you take it to-go. Please visit this place.

I ordered five tacos and was told the wait would be 15 minutes. After 20 minutes I went up and my order was just sitting there. She gave me my order. I reminded her on drinks. She then said she had to go in back for the drink. Still waiting She finally comes back. If I had been told sooner I would have had enough time on my lunch hour to run to Ralph's. Food was cold so package must have been sitting up there awhile. Don't recommend.

My only complaint is the salsas of Michi's. This place has really grown on me and I'm stopping by at least twice a week. They have really good birria tacos; however, the salsas are not my favorite. The main salsa they provide, tastes like a raw onion and the others are beyond hot that you can't even enjoy the flavors they're supposed to add. Please, for the love of God provide a regular green and red salsa. No need for gourmet salsas or reduce the heat. The salsa taste like Habaneros were the main ingredient and it's not enjoyable at all (and I like spicy). I added a pic of how much is needed to get an habanero amount of heat.

Good service, the employees were very accommodatingIt's a cute little retro interior, doesn't look like your typical mexican restaurant but the food is still greatMy boyfriend and I got the big tacos of carne asada, al pastor, and lengua, and quesabirria plate. I loved the al pastor, lengua was nice and soft, asada was a little tough. The quesabirria was super good, both the meat and consommé was flavorful, the tortilla also had a nice crisp, love that their tortillas are handmade.

Full disclaimer, I was wrong; I thought this would be a run-of-the-mill trendy, but sub-par, taco shop. Couldn't have been more wrong. Every instance in this place was superb. The staff let us know that the kitchen was backed up. They gave us chips and salsa and checked up on us multiple times to make sure we had enough chips and everything -- excellent service. When the food came out, it was well worth the wait. My dish was delicious. Highly recommend the Al Pastor Torta. Al Pastor Torta - First off, the sandwich is huge. It's pretty messy, but this thing is absolutely delicious. It has plenty of sauce, and the chicken was properly marinated and tender. Couldn't have been better.Value: 5/5Quality: 5/5Quantity: 5/5Service: 5/5Atmosphere: 5/5
