I was traveling through Upland with my family and we stopped here because they had both vegan and non-vegan options, so there would be something for all of us to eat. The restaurant is really cool inside, it made me feel like I was at my hometown Mexican restaurant. Everyone that worked there was also super nice, relatively quick service and friendly attitudes.Unfortunately, the food is pretty mediocre. I ordered the burrito with jackfruit and it was definitely the pre seasoned kind you buy from a package at the store. I had hoped they had their own recipe like most places I order it from. It had some seasoning in it that was very off putting. I couldn't really tolerate eating it, so most of it went to waste. The rice was really good, at least. The salsa was good, as well as the chips, although they looked like they came from the bottom of the bag where all of them are broken and small. My family's meals also weren't great, all lacking in flavor. The margaritas were decent.The prices were seriously outrageous. And it wasn't just the plant based options, it was everything. It was really unreasonable.I'm super disappointed because I was so excited to try this place. I really don't recommend it at all from my experience.

Ordered the 6 ft burrito, beed taco tray, beans, and rice but I will get to that last. I had never ordered or been to Mi Ranchito before and I was very impressed by the amazing and friendly customer service upon ordering and pick up. Now the food...delicious! I often think quality will suffer when food is prepared in large quantity but definitely not the case here! Everyone kept asking where I ordered from especially the beef tacos. They were next level! Thank you so much for an all around great experience.

4.5 Stars out of 5 is the current rating I give this new restaurant in the Verdemont Ranch area of San Bernardino. It is refreshing to finally have a family owned Mexican sit down restaurant in the area. It is in the new Kendall Plaza business strip. The parking is aplenty and the area is clean. The front of the store is clean with a nice looking "Mi Ranchito" Logo on the front of the building. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the owner, Karen, who was very very nice. We were allowed to sit wherever. There was plenty of seating for our large group of six. I was impressed with the interior setting and the music playing to bring out the Mexican authenticity. The place was nicely decorated and very very clean. I examined the restrooms and they were just as clean too. It was obvious that the owner put a lot of thought into the restaurant. Even the menus were nice looking and made for a superior quality restaurant. Our party ordered several dishes. Karen apologized for any delay as she was the only one working the front. However, service was rather quick. The wait didn't seem long as we enjoyed the tasty refillable complimentary chips and salsa. I asked everybody around the table to give me their honest opinion of the food. Everyone at my table enjoyed the food and gave me ratings from seven to nine. The food was very good. The common complaint from the group was the crane asada's lack of flavor. I had the mojalcate and I had to agree the carne asada did lack seasoning and was a bit bland. The rest of the food was very tasty. Some of the other plates I enjoyed were the nachos, sopes, pancakes, eggs, rice, beans, chicken, carnitas (very tasty), cheese, etc. The portions of food are a good size and the prices are very reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. This is a great place to take your date, wife, or family and friends. I will definitely return and try their other plates. Keep in mind this is a new restaurant. The owner asked me how I liked the food and I told her about the crane asada. She thanked me for my honest opinion and she said she would take my review into consideration as she wants to make her food as best tasting as possible.

The atmosphere upon walking in was hold like and inviting. The host Ricardo was so nice and very pleasant, service with a smile and he checked on us every time he passed by. The vegan nachos were soooooo tasty even for my carnivorous boyfriend. I loved the veggie fajitas and boyfriend loved his beef fajitas. The portions are very large so I even enjoyed them a day later. Love this restaurant and I shall return

The food here is very average Mexican food - I'm certain I've had much better at many other places but it's definitely not the worst I've ever had. Forgettable but if you're looking for an easy predictable dinner this does the job.The ac was broken inside so just beware that it might be hot. I'm sensitive to temps but everyone in our party was sweating since it got so hot.The service is fast and friendly but not much more to say there. The food itself is just meh. I had the fajitas and they definitely served me a plate that was 3/4 peppers and 1/4 steak chicken and shrimp. When you're paying for the most expensive thing on the menu that has three proteins, it would be nice to have more of it... the chips and salsa are likely Store bought.I did appreciate that they had a whole page for vegan options. That is a nice touch.Our family is Cuban and so we eat Hispanic food often. Everyone agreed that this was not the best place in Upland to get Mexican but oh well. I would'nt be back so if you go, just set your expectations appropriately.
