The food was amazing. The red sauce was traditional and had a ton of flavor and the service was wonderful also. Located In a beautiful historic remodeled building., Wil be coming back.

I'd been wanting to try this place since I saw this GORGEOUS old building being restored. I remember I asked a contractor doing work on the building what they were making it, and he said "A pizza place" what an understatement. The weather was lovely so we sat on the big patio, which is elevated and shaded from the sun in the evening hours. The waitress was absolutely lovely. They don't have any beer on tap, which I hope will change soon. So my friend ordered the chicken piccata with extra capers and I ordered the salmon piccata. Our meal took a long time. Maybe 30 minutes, but we were chatting and happy to wait so it was no big deal. Both our waitress and what I assumed was the manager came out to apologize, assure us our food was coming and ask us if we needed anything, which was much appreciated. One gripe was that I guess the waitress told my friend that our meal would come with two pieces of bread when it came with one, and we really think they should be serving bread before the meal, especially with how long the meal took. But I had to give the full 5s because the food was spectacular. Both my friend and I basically licked our plates. The meat had just the perfect amount of sear without being overcooked. She was very happy with her extra capers and my salmon was exquisite. That coupled with the immaculate vibes, the gorgeous building and the friendly service, I will not hesitate to go there again! I am a pomona native and resident and I have so much respect and pride for my city. The fact that they restored this beautiful old building and are serving amazing food, 10/10 no notes... except maybe serve bread

My first time here today for brunch and I felt it could have been a bit better with organization. When they first open they should have a sign where to line up for entry. Also, the brunch is buffet style which I do not eat, but they could have had two areas with the food! The lines were long and ran out of food many times, and they did not have any condiments for you. The best thing was the music, the Dj did his thing with and I was able to dance the whole time and had a wonderful time! The food was decent but it could be better. Since they are new with brunch I'll let them slide. However, I think they should have a omelette bar to have more options and better menu.The price of the brunch is reasonable for food and bottomless mimosas only $50.00 , but should be better with organization for a day brunch party. I'm sure the dinner on regular hours is pretty good tho! It's a very fun time here! And I do recommend for a live fun setting and to dance. This is definitely not an authentic Italian restaurant. The food is the usual Americanized version that you find all over the country. Average at best.The service we received was horrible: we asked for something, we were told "I don't know what to tell you" by one person, and "let me go check" and never seen the other person again.Plus we paid 27$ for two screwdrivers from a bartender that was looking up how to make drinks on her phone...We were very unpleased

Booked out employee party here with Ruben and had an amazing time! Thank you so much. Food was amazing! The staff was very helpful. Lighting was a great touch for dancing.

Great new spot! I'm looking forward to attending their live music performances! The food was delicious, and the service was great. The chicken pizza is the best. Will return soon!

Not too busy for a Thursday night. Service was quick. Lounge type restaurant with upbeat music. Food was flavorful, portions were on point. Alfredo sauce is out of control 10/10. Spicy Maxximo sauce goes with everything if you dare.

This Italian gem quickly became my favorite spot for its exceptional dishes and craft cocktails.Let's start with the food. The cheese ravioli was so delicious - perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, creamy cheese filling, topped with a savory white sauce that left me craving more. And the drinks. Every craft cocktail was made with the freshest ingredients & just enough alcohol for the perfect blend. Not to mention, they looked beautiful . If you're looking for a place to experience the best of Italian cuisine in a setting that combines history and a classy vibe and top notch service, look no further than MAXXIMO. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu.

This place is beautiful. The building is an old Masonic building. It was a perfect night to sit outside under the stars. My boyfriend and I celebrated our success' with a nice meal out on the town. The parking is enclosed and safe. The ambience is airy, modern and with great music. The server was very pleasant and attentive. I wish I could say the food was at a 5 star level. But it wasn't. The asparagus was not cooked and hard. The ribeye had too mush obvious fat on it. The Zappa Toscana was very tasty and just a right portion for 1. My boyfriend's lasagna was tasty. If they had a better cook in the kitchen this place would be 5 stars. I have to give credit to whomever decorated the place.... VERY NICE!! Great place to have drinks and watch a game I'm sure!

I'm at Maxximo's and happy to see bartender Nelson back again.He's always so helpful and courteous.This place is so nice and the vibe is great!Alexis is great as well.Best service ever!Hope to visit this place over and over.
