Only thing I came for was Red Bulls and were completely out. What grocery store doesn't have Red Bull.

Always wonderful service here! Bakery items available for those special occasions or just a Tuesday at 2:00. The prepared foods and made to order items are convenient for picking up a quick dinner. Cuban sandwich's, empanadas, fried fish, ribs and more with sides to accompany. Tamales! ready to eat or a bag of prepared masa for making your own. Champurrado! Tonight they had it usually it's only on the weekends if it's not sold out. The staff in this kitchen put that extra love and care in the preparation of your order. Welcoming and warm you'll enjoy a comforting meal.

Getting there:Located off the main road Mission Inn Ave, they have a small parking lot out front but they do share the lot with other smaller shops.Experience:Came here for a quick drink run, and I must say do not come here if you are looking for a fast collection of different wines. They really only have mainstream wine brands such as barefoot, but the wines are dirt cheap. Cheapest wine run I've ever done actually!

What I missed MOST when relocating from LA to Riverside was our grocery purveyors (seriously-we were 15 minutes away from K-Town's Super Market, the Greek food emporium AND a Cuban deli/juice bar). MAXI FOODS is located on University Ave and Brockton. The store is stocked with Mexican foodstuffs from pan dulce, bolillos, bottled ponche, Cuban and Peruvian sodas. For my non-cooking peeps, Maxi Food's deli offers Cuban sandwiches, Mexican tamales + empanadas and Spanish flan (just like grandma used to make!).The spice selection is legit. The staff is super helpful (no joke-I didn't reach an item on the top shelf, so the butcher brought me a step ladder!). MAXI FOODS produce prices are super-reasonable. *Here's a tip: Try not to go when you are in a rush b/c lines are long.MAXI FOODS is my go-to for everyday Latin America favs.ps: To my Cuban peeps, guess what they sell here? VIOLETA PERFUME! ***Not the classic Agustín Reyes brand, but the other one (Agua de Violetas Francesas)

Came here to get some meat since I had some leftover tortillas - The marinade on the Pastor was actually pretty good. I loved how there was some pineapple in it. However, there is a lot of pieces of fat in there. Not sure if they didn't trim it or if they tossed it in as filler, but there was a lot. - The Asada was tender, but the seasoning really wasn't coming through. It also needed more salt.

I give up Went grocery shopping here and was pleasantly surprised by the overall prices and vibe of the store. I purchased a bone in chuck adjacent cut of beef that had been packaged that day. When I went to cook it two days later I was greeted by the most foul piece of beef I've ever encountered in my life. It had gone from a decent looking cut to an off colored abomination that reeked of fish and cheese. The fat was yellow going on green and there were dark brown oxidation points littering the top half of the entire cut. I snapped a photo and due to the smell promptly threw it away in the outside trash. I called the store and the costumer service worker I spoke to was very understanding and helpful, I was told to bring in a photo of the meat with the tag included and I would receive store credit.I came in later that evening to get the store credit and get some different beef, however when I showed the photo to the cashier I was told she asked me "did you try it?" When I replied "no it reeked of fish" she turned away and began speaking and swearing in Spanish to her assistant manager. I received extreme pushback on the store credit despite the tag with the store info being in frame. They eventually called the worker I spoke to previously and I got different meat from the butcher counter. I picked out the chuck stew mix, it looked good and had no smell when I bought it so I felt good.I cooked the meat the next morning and yet again to a lesser extent, the same foul smell. It seems as though some aspect of the chain that meat flows through the store is not functioning properly, be it refrigeration, sanitation, or freezing be I implore you to steer clear of the meats. The cashier asking me if I tried the foul meat leads me to implore you to steer clear of the preprepared food as well. Needs a revamp badly, but keep the SpongeBob ride outside, that's pretty cool!

I dont know what they put in the red marinade chicken meat but it acts like some sort of aphrodisiac. My sex life has never been better. My relationship was on the rocks but the sweet sweet buttery meat has single-handedly saved my relationship. The prices are so good here, i even quit cigarettes and cigars. I used to smoke one of each a day and then eat an entire orange (peel and all) out of necessity to hide my tobacco stank but now i have found a deep love for the fruit. I eat it out of choice and maxi market's oranges are the some of the best and juiciest which make it perfect for a nice, crisp glass of OJ. They also have a variety of teas. I found a prostate tea which has helped me tremendously. I can now sit on the toilet without tears flowing from my face. Love this place.
