Mary's Tamales & Mexican Food

Oh my gosh! THE tamale place I've been searching for!Placed an order a few days before the Christmas party and wasn't disappointed! Picked them up ready to go the night before then put them in a few crockpots at lunchtime. So good! Just the right ratio of meat and masa. Seasoning was perfect. My new favorite!

fIrst Timer here , cute little place , inside was clean and nicely decorated, I ordered cheese enchiladas w beans , there is a credit card charge of .75% . My meal was 14.99 came out to 16 bucks and some change. The beans were good but not what I expected , it's missing something , to give it that really good authentic beans , my cheese enchiladas were good, (mole enchiladas) service was quick and cashier was nice . I'll come back again and order a dif plate and try somthing else . Bring cash unless you do not mind the almost dollar sur charge for cards.

It's time to update my review. So after I talked to the owner he explained they are indeed closed on Sunday's and he clarified some issues I had. I haven't stopped going lol I just call before I go because I have had issues where I come in and the tamales I want are not ready so other then that no other issues the tamales are delicious! I haven't tried any of their food only tamales. This year will I plan on pre ordering some for Xmas so will see how that goes. So next time you want some bomb tamales just call before you make a trip to avoid getting mad like me lol

This is a small hole in the wall place. No frills, no thrills. 99% of the people who came in were Hispanics. All kinda looked at me weird. They have a pretty large menu. I decided to order their tacos as Ive been craving tacos for a while. I ordered 3 different tacos and a diet coke, came out to $11. Gone are the days of dollar tacos..... Food came out quickly. 2 tortillas per taco. Very hot (temp wise). Lots of meats and toppings. Just dripping in juice. Green sauce had some kick to it but overall not too spicy. Flavors are good. Not too salty. There's no utensils, or napkins at the table. They either remember to bring them out or you have to ask for it. I went without utensils..... overall a solid place though that serves good Mexican food.

Called on Christmas Day for some tamales and the gentlemen that answered the phone said that they were open for "Tamales Only" I drove down and found the place had a sign saying only open for "PreOrders" only... guess the guy should mentioned that.‍ - Also there was a sketch, homeless guy sitting at the table in front of the store...

Super easy to find location. Ample parking spaces. The inside is so cute with Mexican decor and super clean. The cashier was super friendly and bilingual, spoke English and Spanish. She answered a few of my questions about the flavors of the tamales. And the wait wasn't long at all for my to-go order. Got 2 chicken with green salsa tamales, one beef in red salsa and 1 Cheese in green salsa. My mouth is watering writing this review. The masa was so flavorful and smooth. Not grainy. The filling was delicious. My two fav flavors were beef and queso. She hooked it up with an extra tamale. Wonder if it's because I told her I overheard the sample ladies at Costco talking about how great Mary's Tamales were on Arrow Rte in Rancho. I hurried up and looked it up. Didn't disappoint! 10/10 recommend. Might go back later today!

Best tamales I've had in a long time!!! Great little place, clean and smells great . I ordered champurrado and tamales. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! I will definitely go back!!

OMG. I put them in refrigerator for dinner. But couldn't stop thinking about them. Had to try just one- Green Chili Cheese. THE BEST. I want them for Christmas!!! Thank you for the referral. This was a clients comment to me today after she picked up her 1st order!!! Think she's hooked. Thanks for making me look good.

My barber actually suggested this place to me today. Great customer service. Nice and clean. My favorite was/is the red pork tamales. Thank you ladies!
