My girlfriend and I took her granddaughter here. And all of us enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly and caring about the people visiting the nature center.

I believe this is a very nice (and free) educational opportunity for the community! When I arrived, I believe there was a group of children that were attending a session where they could touch trained animals. This occurred in the main area. However, I could still walk around the area where I believe most of the animals were housed, which looked like it could also function as a classroom. For me, it is a bit of a drive. However, I think this is an excellent place for those in Fontana to visit!

The trail is so peaceful and naturistic. You see a lot of different plants and get to learn or be one with nature. Inside you get to learn about some history of our deserts. Also see live animals.

This is a very nice trail educational area. Came here after hours not knowing what to expect heard great reviews from my 5 year old nephew. From my understanding when it's open they have snakes and lizards in cages to look at. Only drawback I had was the walking around the lake was half way around was a dirt trail and the other half cemented. Which makes it difficult if you have a baby in a stroller. There weren't too many benches for seating in the shade area on the cement side. Would come back with the older kids. Not a baby haha

A nice little hidden gem! Saw some ducks, butterflies, squirrels, birds, and a California desert tortoise named George! There is an abundance of trees and shade so it's quite enjoyable even in this heat. I did not go on the dirt hiking trails too much. For small kids, I'd recommend bringing a jogging stroller (as opposed to a regular stroller).I wish the museum opened earlier than noon. We ran into someone who said they bring out the animal around 1:30pm for the kids to see.All in all, a nice little park that I'd come back to visit again.

I have been to the park for a few years now and I got to say the new displays in the building are really awesome. I especially like when the water fountains are turned on it just really enjoy the outdoor space I'd like to see more of a butterfly exhibit in the future.I definitely recommend if you're looking to get some quiet time outdoors.
