Uchenna- solid service. Food was on point. Came quick! Spacious, friendly, and Reasonably priced. Definitely will be back. Calamari was crispy and hot. The bread was hot and chewy. We ordered harvest of the sea and fisherman's stew. And they even added more linguini since we had a little one

WORST restaurant experience ever. Made a reservation for Valentine's Day a week prior. I've been in the restaurant business for 12 years, I make sure to ALWAYS reserve ahead of time especially on days like Valentine's Day. Checked in for our 9pm reservation at 8:50pm, the host manager tells us that they've fallen behind and our table will be ready 30 minutes after our reserved time. Ok, cool. I can understand especially on a day like today. I was already making plans to go to the bar for some drinks. They had a total of 3 bartenders, & for the first 20 minutes that we were seated at the bar, not once were we ever approached. I dont ever make a scene for something like this because I know as a bartender, you have the bar top and also the entire restaurant to take care of but even the busiest restaurant can make due with 3 bartenders if they weren't all lallygagging and running around acting like they were doing something important. (They weren't) We finally get seated an HOUR after checking in and being told that our original wait time of 30 minutes got pushed back to an hour WITHOUT anyone telling us and after watching several parties that came in after us get seated, but the people with a 9pm reservation have to wait? Crazy...I ask to speak to a manger, watched as the server went up to the manager, & watched the GM, YOUR RESTAURANT MANAGER walk away like it wasn't his problem, and sent the hostess to speak and apologize to us. They tell us the kitchen is still backed up. Mind you, it's now 10pm and half the restaurant has already cleared out. We ordered right away after staring at our menus at the bar for the past hour. & we also made sure to order something that wouldn't take long seeing that we waited all day for this dinner, we put in 2 orders of steak (MIND YOU...they're med rare, I work at Paul Martins during their craziest times and NEVER did it take an hour to cook a steak med rare) and still watched as people who put in orders after us, got their meals right away before us. By this point we had already canceled our 10:30pm movie tickets... we asked for our steaks to go since we can clearly see, nothing we say will get this team to work properly as they should... & yet, we still had to wait 30 minutes for someone to cash us out. We should've just walked out after dealing with all of this. Safe to say we will NEVER make dinner plans for this poorly ran restaurant. & we still tipped even though we shouldn't have paid a dime for how we were treated.

Soooo...over the years I have dined here and I've always enjoyed it. Tonight, not so much. I had a party of 6 and we were sat all the way in the far corner of the restaurant, and it wasn't busy at all. Sadly, that left us forgotten about. It took a while for the server to even come to our table, and that was just to pour the water. She didnt have enough to fill the 6 glasses so she left to get more, without asking if we wanted any other drinks. It took her quite a while to come back and she didn't even ask if we wanted appetizers when she finally took the drink order, we had to wait for her to come back AGAIN with the drinks and she almost left again, I had to get her attention to order our apps. Now the apps were great. Oysters on the half shell and traditional calamari. Waited quite a while again for our meal order, and even longer for our food to arrive. My sons enjoyed their lobster roll and burger, respectively. My daughters enjoyed their fettuccine with crab & chicken once they added some salt. My husband got the jambalaya with rice and he said the flavor was good but it was too dry. I had the harvest of the sea. The scallops and shrimp in it were HAMMERED. Rubbery and almost inedible. I was going to say something to the server when she came back to check on us, but she never did. I didn't get a chance to tell her until the meal was done. She looked at me for a few seconds and was like welllllll do you want another plate orrrrrr what do you want me to do....I was like no, we're already done. (I dont think beyond that it's my place to tell her what to do about it, however maybe a small discount or taking it off the bill, even an offer of a dessert would have been nice) She said she'd tell the kitchen. I only tipped 15%. Normally if it's a kitchen issue only I don't take it out on the server, that isn't their fault. The overall experience was just not an enjoyable one. I've been there when it's been absolutely packed and had better service and food experiences. Hope it was just an off night.

I met my family at Market Broiler - Ontario Mills for Happy Hour after work. Market Broiler is located by the AMC entrance of Ontario Mills, aka section 3. Parking can be a hassle cause a lot of the parking spots nearby is fenced off for valet. Their "Social Hour" is available from Mondays to Fridays between 3-6:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays between 1-5pm, Offered in the Bar Area only. The five of us were seated at these 2 small circular high tops combined. Surface was limited for all the items we ordered. As a family, we shared a few each of the following: Raw Oysters on the Half Shell (HH $10/4 oysters), Charbroiled Oysters (HH $9/3 oysters), Boneless Buffalo Wings (HH $8), Clam Pot with Andouille Sausage (HH $9), Traditional Calamari (HH $11), Mahi Mahi Tacos (HH $11) and the Poke Nachos (HH $12). The family favorites were the poke nachos and the calamari. After our first round of 2 each, we ordered additional rounds of those items. The oysters were decent given the price point, but pretty average. On the other hand I didn't enjoy the buffalo wings too much. The sourness was overwhelming, even moreso than other buffalo wings. For the mahi mahi tacos, they used a double tortilla that makes it too heavy and filling for me. I wouldn't get this again in the future. Service was quick and attentive. They were also nice enough to help us take a family picture to capture the memories. It was nice! Generally I really enjoy Market Broiler for my seafood cravings. I've also had their Cioppino at their Orange location and enjoyed it. Highly recommended for my fellow seafood lovers.

We have been here twice so far, it's time for a review. Market Broiler is a fairly big place, lots of seating options, booth, table, whatever you prefer. Our servers have been friendly and attentive each visit, took our order, brought water, sourdough and butter. We have tried the Salmon Oscar (34.50), Blackened Swordfish (29.50), Sizzling Sea Bass (29.50) and Parmesan crusted halibut (38.00).The fish was excellent each time and we enjoyed the sides like mashed potatoes, red potatoes, asparagus and sautéed spinach. It's expensive, but it was worth it. We enjoyed some really good meals!

I finally had the chance to try Market Broiler in Ontario last night before catching a comedy show at the Improv, and it did not disappoint! I've been wanting to visit this spot for ages, and now I know what all the hype is about. The restaurant was clean, the service was fast, and the food was fantastic. My friend and I ordered a variety of dishes to share: calamari, Caesar salad, lobster ravioli, a bacon burger, and a cup of clam chowder. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It's rare to find a place where every single dish shines, but Market Broiler nailed it!Another big plus is the convenient location within the mall, which means plenty of parking always a win in my book. We also enjoyed three glasses of wine, and the total bill came out to $117. For the quality of food and drinks we had, I'd say that's a steal!I can't wait to come back and explore even more of their menu. If you're looking for a great spot with excellent food and a relaxed vibe, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and it was a Great experience. The food was delicious. My wife loves seafood. She had the oysters, which she did finish, shrimp scampi and the blackened swordfish. Definitely was not able to finish but enjoyed what she did eat, with leftovers to enjoy the next day.The AWESOME server Sara was the absolute Best we've ever had in any restaurant. Definitely will be going back and hopefully lucky enough to sit in Sara's section.
