Food was good love coming for the banda !!! The service is amazing she was a doll and quick with the food !!!! A lot of drunks lol so beware!

I always hate writing bad reviews, but can't say I had a good experience. The food, was very bad. I had a shrimp cocktail and it was flavor less, shrimp tasted old, and it was kind of warm, I kindly asked the waitress to take it back as soon as I tried it and she did (but I still got stuck paying $15 for it), others at my table also disliked the food they ordered. I also asked for an iced water, waitress forgot about it and I had to ask again and then she brought me a room temperature water (which I also had to pay $2 for). I ordered a tequila sunrise and it was okay, not horrible but also not the best. The band that plays is also just okay, their kind but could be a lot better. The restaurant itself isn't very clean, I took a few pictures, but looked like to don't wipe anything down. Our bill was over $200 and none of us were happy with our experience so it was a real bummer.

If I could give less than one star I would! The service is horrible! My husband loves Mariscos & I do not but I usually find something else to eat. I asked for a bean & cheese burrito but she said they don't make them. Offered me a bowl of beans & mini tortillas! She offered a quesadilla or asada burrito...so not sure how they can make that but not beans & cheese only! She was rude & messed up our drinks! DO NOT RECOMMEND! The place is shabby & took loud you can't even talk!

The food here is delicious!!!! I got the mojarra was well cooked not spicy for it being a la diabla.. still good Customer service was good Came on a Friday , live banda wasn't too badRestrooms need some cleaning .

Good food and good service.. live entertainment is great! Will go again soon! Tostada De Ceviche De Camaron amazing!

I've gotta e completely transparent here. I actually really liked the mariscos here and enjoyed the ambiance (they had great music and the wait staff was on par for mexican marisco spots, IYKYK) but they had no water. I'll repeat that again: THEY HAD NO AVAILABLE DRINKING WATER.Initially, I thought they meant that they didn't offer complimentary tap water to paying customers, which I thought was odd, but then I offered to but bottled water. The waitress then informed us that they didn't have any water bottles available for purchase. We then tried to buy mineral water, which again, they did not have.Two friends and I had just finished a round of golf in July in Riverside and were hungry and thirsty, as you can imagine. Not a drop of water to be had.We ended up having beers, which we intended to anyway, but drinkable water would have been a nice addition to our meal.That was the first time I had ever experienced such a faux pas and I hope to never go through that again.

The food especially the Mocajete is amazing. The music is on point making atmosphere amazing. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the waitresses don't smile and aren't attentive everytime we needed something we had to flag her down and seemed in a bad mood or something

The fish was burnt. The same happened to the other plate that we ordered. The fish had barely any meat that was edible.

I recently visited Islas Maria with a party of 4. While the service was decent, the food quality left much to be desired, especially when it came to the fried dishes. We ordered three Mojarras, and unfortunately, all were overcooked to the point of being nearly burnt. I personally ordered a Taco Al Gobernador which was bland and a fish taco also overcooked and lacked flavor. It was clear that the oil used for frying had not been changed in a while, which resulted in a greasy, unpleasant taste. To add to that, the smoke alarm went off three times while our food was cooking, likely due to the excessive smoke from the oil. At this time, I cannot recommend this restaurant if you're looking to enjoy any deep-fried fish dishes. Hopefully, these issues are addressed soon.

THE BEST ISLAS EVER!!! GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD!! When ever I come here they are always so kind, and their food is constantly delicious!
