Mariscos El Chapo

Good food, good service. The ambience is nice maybe might be too loud to have conversation with family and not for small babies. The food is always good though.

The service was good but the food was not. To start you have a choice for chips and salsa or small shrimp broth it was good but tooo spicy. I had tostada de ceviche de Camaron and it tasted old. I also had 2 tacos de marlin and it ok. My husband had a burrito de asada and he liked it.

I would love to give 4 stars because the food was delicious... but unfortunately the service failed. I called to pick up my order and I was told 10-15 min. I arrived at that time and was told to hold on. I waited, waited and waited. The waitresses seemed busy but I felt silly standing and waiting with no update. Finally one woman came up asked if we've been helped, I told her I still have to pay for my pick up order. She finally took my payment and I had to wait yet again.... We sat and waited to finally receive it. I wasn't able to take a photo because I was so hungry but once I did it was good. Maybe if I ever came back I'd have to dine in and experience it that way. I feel maybe they tend to the dine in customers more than the dine out.

So far I've had octopus ceviche and fish ceviche. Both dishes were very good with large portions. The michelada was also excellent.

I pass on this! Looks like if I had paid 5 buck per shrimp! 28 bucks this insane for this plate

The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza. Area surrounding the restaurant is rough but the food we got was good. There's plenty of seating and when we went we were seated right away. The menu is in Spanish so be prepared. There is a drum set in the restaurant so at some point I'm assuming there's live music.Molcajete El Chapo - Delicious and flavorful. Definitely a tangy dish. There's cucumbers, cooked shrimp, raw shrimp, octopus, avocado, and red onions. The juice/sauce is perfect. This appetizer comes with tostadas, chips, spicy Mayo, and ketchup. The mayo heightens the dish even more! Amount is perfect for two people to share. 10/10!

Horrible and Over-Priced food. I bought 2 plates (camarones al mojo de ajo), the beans were watery "no taste", the shrimps tasted like if they were from a frozen bag and microwaved, and garlic was just tossed on top of it..a bit of salad on the side(no dressing) and over cooked rice. This horrible plate was $24.99 plus tax. I will never come to this restaurant ever again.

Food was great friendly service recommend highly .. also Grupo norteno on Sundays great place to have a few drinks and hangout with friends and family .

I got the shrimp cocktail here today for lunch and it was so good. The broth is the star of the meal. I'm not sure what they used, but it didn't taste like the usual Clamato that's used in shrimp cocktails. The service was quick, the restaurant is clean and they have an "A" rating. I recommend eating at this restaurant.
