First of all, I would like to say that this review is only for their Sunday Brunch, and that I am somewhat of a "regular" for their brunch. I also work at a Mexican Cantina as well as at a Spanish restaurant, so I'm a little bit picky.Their Sunday Brunch is buffet style, which is perfect for their bottomless mimosas so I can slowly pace myself accordingly, as opposed to committing to an entire meal delivered all at once. My main concern with buffets, is food temp. Whatever they do is on point! Every time I get another round, the food is still steaming when I take it to my table. Another thing that I like is that their food is not heavily inundated with salt. Every dish is perfectly seasoned. Props to their Chef! The birria melts in your mouth, as well as their other meats. Menudo is excellent, as always. Every time I go there, the culinary experience gets better and better! (How many times can you say that about any place?!) It's a medium size buffet, but every dish is masterfully seasoned individually, and not just generic. The price point is very economical, considering that this is not a place that wants to be a club, with a DJ, bumping music, and a VIP section. I'm not knocking that vibe, but it's nice to go to a place that has a sophisticated, professional atmosphere that I can take my mom to without yelling at her. Also perfect for me to take my friends to and indulge in their bottomless option which is only $10 extra! Which is great because in downtown Riverside it's around $35 for the bottomless add-on.As I mentioned, I'm somewhat of a regular. This morning, 11-24-24, I came in with my mom, and the server, Emily, gave me a bowl of their cilantro/lime rice, because she recognized me and knew that I love their rice. I was taken back! Whenever I go there, I'm not loud, but the fact that she noticed me and went out of her way and brought it to me (unrequested) was super sweet! It was probably due to the fact that I've called a few times the day of, to make sure that they have that rice, because it's that AMAZING! Thank you once again Emily for going above and beyond! At Margaritas, they pool their tips. I forgot about this at the time when I tabbed out, because I would have given Emily a personal tip, but everyone there is super friendly, accommodating, and they are all working as a team to treat their guests wonderfully! My advice for Sunday Brunch is to get there early. They open at 9A, so try to get there closer to that, because as everyone gets done with church, it gets more and more crowded. Also, I'm not a big fan of plastic-ware, (although I get it, post covid, and it it's easier on the dishwasher), but they have no problem supplying proper silverware upon request. (Sorry Margaritas for mentioning that). Thank you once again Emily and your other supporting staff for making our brunch memorable! (Sorry I don't know your other coworkers' names, but I'm sure I'll learn them eventually). Looking forward to coming there next time!

We've passed by this restaurant a couple times wondering why it always looks empty and today we discovered why. We walked in around 8ish expecting it to be busy but there was only about 5 tables seated with people. We order a molcajete ($60) and was super disappointed the chicken was dry and cold , the rice seemed like it was scraped from the bottom of the pan it was hard and cold, the cheese in the molcajete was not melted or warm (usually it's nice and warm, usually everything in a molcajete is super hot). The veggies in the shrimp cocktail tasted freezer burned, the cucumber was squishy and cold. The drinks were good but nothing too special.

We went for Sunday brunch and got the Buffett. It's a bit pricey but they do have so much variety. The food was ok not my favorite but not the worst. The service was great. Everyone is was with really enjoyed the food. It was a big hit in there they need to put fans or the air conditioner needs to be turned down. The bottomless mimosas are only $10 so that really good.

I had a great experience. I sat outside and had a great scenic setting. The service was also great and I enjoyed my meal. The plates didn't disappoint either. They're usually large, so I definitely filled up.
