1/6 at 7:39 AMThis morning, I visited Manna Donuts for the first time with my daughter, excited to try their donuts based on all the positive reviews about their service and family-friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience left me disappointed. At checkout, the cashier processed my order but didn't mention the $0.50 card fee. After noticing it on the receipt, I asked if we could cancel the transaction so I could pay in cash instead. She asked a male coworker for help, but he said he didn't know how and didn't attempt to find a solution. When I explained that I wasn't aware of the fee as a new customer and suggested it might be helpful to let people know beforehand, his response was dismissive. He said, "They charge card fees everywhere," and pointed to a small sign on the register that wasn't easily visible. He then added that another donut shop charges a dollar, implying I should be thankful their fee was cheaper. The tone of the interaction felt condescending, as though I was at fault for not noticing the sign or for bringing up the issue at all. I specifically chose this place because of reviews praising their service and how great they are with kids, so I brought my daughter along, hoping for a pleasant experience. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome. Clearer communication and a more understanding attitude would have made a significant difference. While I understand that policies like card fees are common, the way they are communicated and handled speaks volumes about an establishment's approach to customer service. Unfortunately, this interaction didn't reflect the welcoming and family-friendly environment I was expecting. I hope Manna Donuts takes feedback like this into consideration, as first impressions matter. A little more effort in addressing customer concerns and communicating policies upfront could turn a disappointing visit like mine into a positive one. For now, though, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

We were meeting a big group of folks in Yucaipa for a weekend camping trip and on a whim we decided to stop and grab two dozen donuts from Manna. We went in and were greeted with smiles and amazing energy from the staff. I asked for two dozen mixed donuts and without hesitation they began fulfilling our order. Honestly, I wish they were closer the donuts were so good. They were fresh and they tasted fresh. Honestly, probably one of the best tasting and most flavorful donuts I have had in a really long time. I can't wait to stop there again - even if I have to go out of my way to get there. The inside was just your typical donut shop - nothing spectacular a few booths and some chairs. I recommend Manna Donuts to anyone looking for an amazing crueler or old fashioned donut.

This is the only place in town you should buy donuts! We've been coming here for years. They use fresh oil so the donuts never disappoint. The owners are the best and friendliest too.

So it's a quite Sunday morning, and we saw a ton of cars in front of this donut shop - so we had to stop and check it out. As you can see from my pic, they were loaded and ready for customers. When we arrived it was slow, but then the crowd had followed us in. Suddenly, staff rose to the occasion, and became super-efficient. There aren't many tables there so I believe everyone had their donuts togo.As you can see from my pic, I had my usual apple fritter. It was the expectedly large and dense pastry. It had the right amount of crunchy parameter, and tender/soft center and the requisite super sweet glazing. In their fritter, they had ample amount of apple bits dispersed throughout. For variety we had their lemon creamed filled powdered donuts. This didn't disappoint on the ample amount of lemony sweet filling or the powdered sugar. I was so overwhelmed by the amount of filling, I don't exactly remember what the donut was like - I think a light dough that mushable when we pulled it apart to share (and what a mess I created with the powdered sugar!).

Awesome donuts! The two that help us here all the time are always so friendly and welcoming :)The glazed donut just melts in your mouth and tastes so fluffy. Whole family loves this place! One thing of note you need to get here early any day that they're open. They will NOT be open all day because they continuously sell out because of how good they are.

Great tasting donuts, quick service and prices are reasonable. Been a long time to eat here, it was back when it was uncle rays. So I stopped in and grabbed a couple of Apple fritters and they had the little crunchies all over it, and tasted great. I also had a raised donut, again, not disappointed. Definitely , a place one should try if you haven't
