I enjoyed a mid-Saturday brunch with friends to catch up and enjoy a sumptious Mexican meal with some panache and MamaXDios did not disappoint.PROSThe remodel creates a garden atmosphere that promotes a relaxing and comforting vibe. The outdoor/indoor open wall allows for fresh breezes. The green Earthtones encourage serenity and smooth conversations and light hearted fun. Abraham was a remarkable server with sophistication, good humor, and superb attentiveness. They ladled piping hot tableside cafe de olla that complemented the complimentary fresh concha, deliciously mixed mushroom and chorizo queso fundido, and wonderfully acidic esquite. The thick and hearty birria tacos filled up my friends appetites. The orchestra of servers did a fantastic job in taking care of our table. CONS:The only detraction from the ambiance was the gyrating yellow lights during the meal. They did not seem to fit the new aesthetic and a hold over from the more club vibe. One of the servers callously placed our dishes on our menus (not a big deal, but out of place with the others). Also, the only meal that seemed to miss the opportunity was the mole chilakilas. The chicken was not incorporated in the sauce and dry. OVERALL:I found the new experience enjoyable, tasty, and the servers really elevated the meal. It is a decent value and I liked the tableside specialties. We will be back.

I had been looking forward to a lovely Valentine's Day dinner, but what I experienced was anything but romantic. My reservation was for 8:45 p.m., and when I arrived, I was shocked to see that people who had reserved for 6:30 were still waiting to be seated. After nearly two hours of waiting, we were finally told that we could sit on the patio without the need to wait further--information that should've been shared when I first arrived. To make matters worse, we were seated in the cold, and just when I thought it couldn't get worse, one of the heaters was removed from my girlfriend's side. The staff seemed unprepared and inexperienced--our server looked like they had just started a week ago and wasn't at all knowledgeable or courteous. As if the service wasn't bad enough, my meal came with hair in it, which completely ruined the experience.I would never dine at this place again. From the unorganized seating to the cold and unpleasant service, it was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Make sure you get a copy of your receipt and save it if you pay with credit card. These guys will charge more to your credit card after you've already paid. What was a nice but pricey brunch was ruined by the poor service at the end. We were ignored by more than 30 minutes at the end of our meal. The restaurant was mostly empty and they still couldn't send anyone to ask us if we needed to refill our drinks or anything else. We had to get up ourselves and walk over to were the staff was just standing around doing nothing to ask for a waitress. This could be forgiven but what can't be forgiven is I looked at my credit card charge the next day and saw I was charged more than what the receipt had said. Tip was already included on bill (20%) so it's not like I forgot to tip. Thievery will not be tolerated

Birthday brunch experience I decided to come here for my birthday past summer with a group of 5. We got sat in one of their half circle tables and enjoyed their decor and vibrant atmosphere. On Sunday they have live mariachi which had fantastic vocals and went around the restaurant. For food we ordered the chicken and waffles, birria tacos, French toast, and tres leches pastel. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had and was surprised as it looked a bit overdone. The fried chicken was good just on the thinner side and could have been cooked a tad less, waffles were average. Birria tacos were juicy and hit the spot. The tres leches pastel was not a free birthday dessert which should be explained, I don't think it's worth the money, but it is good and the popcorn pairs well.Parking is a in shopping center so there is plenty, I recommend reservations.

Place is like walking into a cover band Pitbull concert. Way too loud and incredibly overpriced and pretentious Mexican food (if that possible). They aggressively try to upsell their food. No chips and salsa etc. seems to be a place where certain families like to come celebrate birthdays which seems strange to me given you can't hear yourself think in there. Taco stand food is better. Place is very bougie.

I recently visited Mama Por Dios for a girls' night dinner, and while the place has an amazing vibe and is perfect for photos, the food left much to be desired. The ambience is chic and upscale, making it a great spot for drinks and aesthetics, but if you're looking for a satisfying meal, this may not be the place.I ordered the fajitas, which were essentially two skewers with one piece each of steak, chicken, and shrimp, separated by veggies--for a hefty $50. While the presentation was fancy, the portions were tiny, and the flavor didn't match the price tag. It felt like the emphasis was on appearances rather than taste or value. That said, I'd consider going back for drinks and to soak up the beautiful atmosphere, but I wouldn't return for the food. Great for the gram, but not for a meal!

This is my favorite date night spot but it can be a fun girls night out spot too depending on where you sit. Here's the rundown:1) It's packed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's good to make reservations ahead of time to make seating smoother. 2) They have bathroom attendants, and the ladies room is so tiny, even the stalls are tiny. It makes it hard to move about in there because the attendant and space size.3) Seating matters. Outside is more romantic and calm, but you can still hear and enjoy the music inside. The inside of the restaurant is loud, like a club. It's a bunch of fun inside. The staff make it a party like atmosphere.4) The drinks are all visually stunning. I always snap a pic. They also have a Tequila cart that comes around to each table to offer shots.5) The service is up there among the best. They really take care of you here, and not just your waiter, the whole staff operate like an elite team to elevate your experience.6) Now the food! I read others reviews and they're mixed on the food. I myself find much of the food really good. The pictures of the beans and rice made me want to pass on them, but I'm glad I ordered it on my first visit. They look odd, but they're so flavorful. The enchiladas, guacamole, and drinks are all good. The desserts are good too. There are some dishes that are average in flavor, but much of their offerings are delicious and memorable.

Stopped into Mama Por Dios with my hubby on a Wednesday around 1230pm, not many cars in the lot so I double checked online to make sure it was open and it was so we walked in. Coming from the outside brightness your eyes take a second to adjust upon walking in but when they do you are transported. The inside decor is beautiful definitely a high end feel with nice large comfortable booths as well as tables in the middle, this place can accommodate a party of any size. We were greeted and seated at a booth by request and our server Marisa came over promptly to introduce herself, she was awesome throughout the whole time we were there, she gave great recommendations answered all of our questions and had a great attitude :)The cocktail menu is tequila heavy of course, but extensive. I spotted a mimosa cart at the table across from us and for $25 you can get bottomless?! SAY LESS Marisa brought some complimentary bites for the table 2 conchas and some slices of fruit, I thought that was a nice surprise. We ordered the birria tacos which were fire! And the presentation was so pretty also opted for the Hot Cheetos esquites also delicious and presentation was equally as impressive...I didn't get his name but our mimosa cart server was the cutest! I love that they make the mimosas to your liking and not just a standard pour. Plus they have four different flavors; classic orange, midori, strawberry and mango I tried them all and asked for light juice LOL needless to say I left there feeling grooovy. We will definitely be back for a date night dinner or to celebrate a special occasion with friends. I like this place because it can be a casual lunch place or fancy dinner. They have live mariachi on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights til late so if you're looking for a night out in Rancho Cucamonga come check this place out!
