Maki Bomb

In town for business and my coworker and I found this in Riverside Food Lab. We walked around before sitting down and we were so happy that we went back 3 times in a week! The last two times we had different associates with us to share the experience. Their all day happy hour was very good. Staff was amazing and friendly. Hot cheeto roll, prohibition roll, cilantro rolls were really great. Loved their egg rolls! They have really good prices. I had their Matcha Mojito which is not on the happy hour menu but was worth it. Really great vibes and good time. Wasn't loud and the ambiance was vibrant. Clean location throughout. If I am back in town, I will be back.

I really wanted to like this place but from start to finish it was just meh. We came in the middle of the day so it wasn't too busy and plenty of spots to take a seat at the counter and enjoy. We sat and sat and sat until finally I waved down one of the two people working who ignored us. We decided to try the happy hour specials and the mimosa was so bad, it was watery. We ordered a special roll not on happy hour and for 18 dollars it had no flavor and tasted off. My husband said the hand roll was decent. It took a long time to receive our food and once we received our food, we had to ask server for plates, soy sauce, and even chopsticks because we had no service the entire time. To pay the bill took a very long time so service was just lacking here and the food was subpar. There are other eateries to consider in the food lab!

I ordered one of the pricer rolls. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was served quickly. (FYI happy hour is 2-5 pm mon-fri.) The Geisha Fizz cocktail was a pleasure. I took satisfaction in the chill music and stylish, close-knit space. I look forward to my next visit.

30+ minute wait for one roll (3 people ahead of us) and the roll was $18 which was not amazing quality wise.

I've tried just about every place in the food lab, most of it has disappointed. The poke bowl was really good, all the ingredients felt fresh. I ordered a tequila soda, and my food was done quickly.Great place for lunch.

Came in for lunch and got the poke bowl with tuna and salmon as my protein. Super tasty and fresh. The portions are very good as well! The women who were working were very friendly even though it was a bit busy. I've tried their nigiri and other rolls before and those were really good as well. Definitely a good spot for lunch if you work in the area! I haven't been during the evening so basing that on my experience during the day time.

Maki Bomb has truly blown me away with their poke bowls! This place takes pride in freshness and quality. The ingredients were impeccably fresh. The portion size was generous, too--definitely worth every penny. I've had poke bowls from a lot of places, but Maki Bomb has set a new standard. If you're looking for a fresh, satisfying meal that's worth every cent, this is the place to go. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

The food tasted good, but the worst part was the poor customer service. When we ordered they did not read back the order and we did not know the order was incorrect. And when we asked for them to change it they refused to help us. Overall it was good but I would not recommend coming back.

If I could leave, no stars, I definitely would. It was me and my girls first experience here .I asked so many times to the workers for sauce and water when they served a couple next to us sauce with rolls Instead of being professional to tend to your other customers They didn't acknowledge us the girl who helps the guy roll the rolls short hair up to shoulders was very rude and the one who serves the drinks pony tail light skin didn't even ask if we got everything did not even bring our waters she clearly seen we needed help I had to ask so many times for sauce and water I would highly recommend not to go here at all poor service female workers accept Daniella she was the one who got the stuff after I asked so many times she at least helped . will definitely not come back or recommend this place to anybody I will tell my friends who go here not to come .

Everything that could be wrong with a place was exactly this one. First, they charged me for double protein just because I got the same. The price listed on the menu wasn't the same either. I didn't argue with it but thought it was interesting. They gave me the wrong order so I took it back to get replaced. When they gave me the correct order the fish was completely frozen. I went to the counter and asked for a refund. The cashier said they could only replace it. I would have maybe been open to this if they didn't already mess up the order. But considering what had just happened it was already a waste of time. There are plenty of sushi and poke places in the area, go there instead.
