Magic Wok

One of the worst Chinese food I tried I couldn't finish the food so greasy I should've checked the app before I purchased the food such a busy place. I don't understand if you have no flavor in my mouth or maybe I'm sick of Kobe but honestly is one of the worst employer she's very nice and friendly.

And the next stop on my journey of Chinese cuisine in the IE: Magic Wok!At first glance, I was surprised to see a small Chinese takeout place with a drive thru! Much to my surprise, the drive through sitting only feet away from the front door is for the conjoined Burger King! Walking in, I was shocked. I wasn't hit with the pungent aroma of beef and noodles that I usually get whenever I walk into a restaurant like this, but rather a very clean smell. Neither smell is a bad thing, mind you. Both smells are welcome for me. I walked up and ordered my usual. If I'm being honest I did switch it up, the rice and chow mein look great, and so did the broccoli beef, but the mushroom chicken didn't look all that appetizing today so I went with orange chicken. I also got one order of spring rolls which comes with 2 pieces and some sweet and sour sauce. The chow mein was average. By that I mean there wasn't too much of any one spice/flavor, and nothing that made it stand out from your average run-of-the-mill chow mein. Not bad, but nothing id rush out for again. The rice was also average. Their rice reminds me of Chinese buffet rice which is my favorite. Fluffier and more moist than typical takeout places, and I love that anywhere I find it. Great flavors and even better with a couple drops of soy sauce. As for my 2 items, I was pretty disappointed. My orange chicken did have a nice flavor, but nothing really made it above "good." The broccoli beef was okay. I only ate maybe half of the beef, almost every piece had that inedible tendon/gristle. And the pieces that didn't have that were still very chewy. While having a good savory flavor, the broccoli beef just didn't cut it for me. The broccoli was cooked perfectly, but just didn't have enough sauce on it from the beef to really taste anything more than broccoli with some garlic. My spring rolls were good. The veggies inside had a great flavor and the wrap was a great texture of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Really I'm not sure I will be returning. I wouldn't go so far as to say inedible, I hate it when people use that word to describe decent food, but I don't think I'll be back here on my own anytime soon. One of my co workers was the one who recommended this place to me, he said it was his favorite spot to go to some time ago. If he decides to come here and invite me, I'd be happy to tag along, but I can't say this would be my first choice for Chinese food. I'll have to try some other places in corona and see what sticks out! Until next time!

First time and last time coming here. The food is not what I expected. There's no chicken in the orange chicken it's literally just batter. The chicken mushroom is just onions and veggies. I think the fried rice was the only thing that was ok. It kinda tasted like it was left overs from the day before. We came around noon. It wasn't busy at all. It was really quick. There's were about 3 customers dining in and it was pretty quite. I'm definitely not coming back.

Magic wok is good but the orange chicken is whack because it is too sweet and hardly any spicy. I don't like it. They give really large portions and more styles of food than you would get at Panda Express; The service is fine but not super fast. It's kinda like a buffet resturant gone rogue. For example I imagine the cooks quit the buffet and set up their own shop. It has some food like pancit and those lil shrimp, crawfish things that i've only seen served at a Filipino resturant too. I come here when I want to make myself and the famiky full and dont want to spend a lot of money!! Oh and not craving Orange Chicken!

I drove 40 minutes away just to get this food, and it was all worth it. The workers here are pretty kind and vibe is so chill. the food is so great. I would drive 4000 Miles for it. Thank you

Horrible staff .. they act like if they're giving out the food for free. Don't come here unless you want your lunch to get ruined.

They have been open less than 30 minutes today and I had a horrible interaction with the manager/cashier. I asked two questions and she spoke to me with such disdain. I informed her that I was uncomfortable with the way she was addressing me and I asked her what role was within the business. She told me she was the manager and the owner talks and acts exactly like her and if I don't like it I shouldn't come back.

Best Chinese food , in my opinion!So flavorful , I've been coming to this place over 15 years even when they were near Cardenas .I now live in victorville ca and drive the one hour just to eat this place :) jalapeño chicken, broccoli & beef, and the rice noodles are my favs !

Food is tasty and the Portion they give!! Is amazing compare to price!!! Definitely recommend!!

used to come in all the time. chef has always put out great food. but the new help? they hired needs to go. the chinese lady working the cashier and mexican serving the food. they talk underneath there breath as if we can't hear them. i understand they probably get grilled everyday by customers. but i actually didn't comment on anything there and im bringing it here food was decent service was shit. save your time and go to panda express.
