Magic Hawaiian BBQ

I have been coming to this location for years! Mostly because we always had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon and it made this place a steal. Sadly we haven't gotten that coupon in years :(Besides that, this place is a solid Hawaiian BBQ restaurant. It's good, it's filling. Nothing more nothing less. You won't go out of your way to phone home and recommend this place to your mom, but you also won't complain about it.

I should have read the reviews before coming here ‍ The food wasn't good at all. The macaroni salad which is usually may favorite at other Hawaiian BBQ spots was incredibly bland. It tasted like nothing. I couldn't taste mayo, tuna, salt. It was a complete let down. My Katsu chicken looked raw. I'm not sure if they marinade it in something that makes it that color? But I certainly wasn't brave enough to try it.

This mall is always packed at lunchtime. Most of the eateries are busy in the noon hour except this place. I was really in the mood for something different but the low ratings have kept me away from trying this spot until last week. The place was empty and rather uninviting. The lady at the counter was stern and was certainly not open to any substitutions on the plates. My Katsu chicken was decent but the teriyaki chicken was quite bland. Lots of side sauces needed to make this stuff edible. Probably won't be back here.

I was just at Lowe's and thought this would be a quick descent lunch stop. Came in for the value meal, left disgusted. Didn't just see one dead cockroach but TWO at the booth table closest to the kitchen when I walked back from the restroom. Also noticed a large masher just casually on the corner of the kitchen floor when I walked by. Not going to post pictures because it would gross you out too.If you're reading this review avoid this filthy place and go elsewhere.

A nice hole in the wall! It looks hidden at first but it's in a pretty nice plaza with quite a few food options! The Hawaiian BBQ aspect really caught my eye! The food was fresh and really good and a relatively good price compared to Ono Hawaiian! Definitely recommend trying it!

Food yum!! Descent prices and the garlic shrimp was simply delicious!! Returning here for sure!

I had a craving for hawaiian bbq and decided to try this place out the other day. It's located in a plaza near the Lowes. The service with was quick and friendly and I didn't have to wait too long for my order.In the mini, the scoop of rice is really small. Their mac salad was ok. I thought it lacked flavor and their sauce for the katsu wasn't like the katsu sauce you'd expect from other Hawaiian bbq places. Overall, pretty decent and fairly priced. I may return to try their other items but it wouldn't be at the top of my list.

What happen to my Curry Chicken? No potatoes no carrots. The curry taste more like chicken mole.
