Los Potrillos Meat Market

We've been living in Riverside for almost 9 years and would always see this place. Well, this last weekend was the weekend we checked them out. Husband had tacos and I had a burrito de cabeza. Food was solid. I had asked for the red salsa but they warned me it was really spicy so I opted for the green one. Glad I went with green, and appreciated the warning! Green salsa was just spicy enough to enjoy the meal. I would totally return to buy their cooked food and check out their meat selection. You can order in the front and they have a few tables in the back. It's a small place, but totally gets the job done!

Horrible service, was passing by on our way home upstate, horrible food, no flavor, tortillas were old, beware.

They have the best meat to barbecue we even have friends in Anaheim that ask us to bring them meat from this spot since the flavor is so good we always get the desmillo preparado or chicken Also there green salsa is bomb spicy but so good the one In middle come check them out when you are grilling best meat in town Thank you for the great service they're always really nice here

Like I don't know how people say this place is bomb when their tortillas are garbage can't even hold a taco in place without it ripping as you're grabbing it inthis is the only taco that i have that happen to, i rather stick to non homemade tortillas cause these tortillas are weak af.

Only complaint this place is hot as balls inside but it's probably because the food is so fire!I only get fish from places that look clean like here so I risked it and got a shrimp taco and it was gorgeous two plump breaded fried shrimp on what tasted like homemade tortilla and dressed with fresh beautiful toppings omg I want another one chicken was nothing special after eating that beauty but the Asada taco was pretty darn good

This is our go to spot for fresh meat, Carne asada and spicy menudo on the weekends. The staff is kind and the guacamole is always spicy

I was hoping to find a good carniceria near by other than Cardenas or other markets. This place was behind Savers. The place had what I needed. Too bad the dude helping me was rude. I really do not care and try to focus on the quality of the meat/product but the guy had a total short fuse. Lol. He almost lost it when I pressed the no receipt option when paying. Never had anyone make a big deal about that. He was freaking out saying his machine got messed. Wowzers. Once he realized all was well he calmed down. I told him the thing was ok I have used them before. He said he didnt read English and did not understand what I selected. He had stank attitude as if I had broken the thing. Lol. It was a trip watching him freak out. I stood by calmly waiting for him to confirm all was well. Not going back and plus the meat was pricey. :(.

This review is strictly for the burritos and side of rice ..The burritos unfortunately are not properly blended with the rice beans and meats .. they place the meat only on one side of the flour tortilla and u get more beans and rice than meat.. it's not equally proportioned .i highly recommend for management to address this issue . The meat also had no flavor ... lastly the rice tasted old .. dry ... hard and overly seasoned . I hate to write reviews but this is important to address .

I absolutely love the food here, but if you're in a hurry or on a lunch break I definitely do not recommend this place if there's more than four people in line . every order takes at least 5 minutes or longer just to get past the first station (mind you per person ) . Other than that the food is absolutely delicious drinks are spot on and the employees are very welcoming . Just wish I had time to wait in the line for long periods at a time .

I have never eaten here but I buy my marinate Cardi Asada and the marinate chicken as well and it's delicious the owner and staff are always friendly I won't buy anywhere else they have the best
