Review#1089~(Inland Empire, CA.)~For supporting Taco Tuesday in the Inland Empire region~I had some errands i was running in the 99 Ranch Market, Chino Hills plaza so decided to find me a Taco Tuesday spot nearby. I utilized Yelp to locate this Mexican restaurant from the City of Chino Hills, CA. 'Los Patrones,' restaurant is located in the 'Smart & Final,' plaza, but on the other side of it. Since i read the restaurant already sat at a 4.5 star rating, I thought to give it a try. I was mostly here for a take out experience so briefly sat by bar side for some light Beef Taco Bites and a cup of house brew. i was in a hurry to run more errands in the same plaza, so I was in and out of here within 40min. Service: 5/5~The waiters and ushers were a fabulous bunch~they sent me the homey vibes here. Thanks to everyone who was so attentive to me here. Ya'll made me feel at home.Food: 5/5~i just enjoyed the beef hard shelled tacos with lots of fresh cabbage slices. Yummm. I'll have to swing by for a regular dish on a lunch take out. Drink: 5/5~i ordered their hot house brew with side of Vanilla French creamers. Hot and Delish!!!! Parking: 5/5~free plaza parking yet convenient. I'd be back right away. Until next Taco Tuesday, thanks for an entertaining first visit!!!!

Formerly Kalaveras... it kept a similar style. PROS-Lots of shopping center parking-Quick seating-Lots of tables/seats-Good for large groups-Friendly staff -Super quick service -delicious, free chips and salsa-Great food... loved the carne asada plate with shrimp and the flan was perfection How was the price for it average pricing CONS-Maybe a pro for others, it lost the party vibe. They play soft music and it's a family vibe.

Nice little placeFor lunch. It was not busy when we got there so were seated and fed right away. Good lunch menu with several options for $12. Free chips and salsa. Chips were good. Salsa was roasted but not an ounce of spice. Food came very quickly and was hot and well presented. Everything is a little whitewashed - not a ton of seasoning or heat- but nice enough and well plated with good portion sizes. Albondigas was DELICIOUS. It had nice flavor and a thicker broth. Meatballs were well seasoned and you got carrots and a small chunk of corn and both were cooked well but not mushy. Very very good. Salad came on the side with nicely chopped levttuce. They have a homemade cilantro Cesar but I really wish it had come tossed. Combo had a good taco though the topping to meat ratio was a little high. Same for the enchilada. It had a ton of lettuce, sour cream and tomatoes. But good. Overall the price was super for lunch so I would go back again for that.

Good Mexican food Casual atmosphere Great service. We enjoy coming here as it's not too fancy and the food is good traditional Mexican. They also have a full bar. You may wait during busy times as it is a popular place

I came here after playing tennis on the holiday. I ordered the lunch special; a crunchy hard taco and a red cheese enchilada. Not good. The service was ok and the same with the ambiance.

Los Patrones is located off of Pipeline and Chino Hills Prkwy. It is easy to locate and access. Parking during the week is decent, but is more challenging on the weekends. There's a colorful and festive floral wall in the waiting area that offers the perfect backdrop for a selfie shot. The festive theme extends into the dining area where chairs and booth seats are covered in bold, bright colors. We were warmly welcomed and greeted as we entered and were seated immediately. Our server and really all of the staff was friendly and worked together as a team to wait on their diners. There are so many amazing sounding choices on the menu! Today I chose the 3 item combo that consists of an enchilada, a chile relleno, and a hard shell taco. I chose the chicken enchilada to be topped with green sauce and it was a great combination! The chile relleno sauce was perfectly seasoned. I was a little disappointed with the potato taco. While the presentation was beautiful, it lacked seasoning and was bland. Now I know potatoes tend to be bland, but even a little bit of salt and/or pepper would have really helped it out. On a different note, Coke fans be warned, Pepsi is served here :(The overall experience was good, and I still have my eye on some other items on the menu, so I will definitely be coming back.

We have been dining at this establishment since it opened as "Las Cascadas" years back. Today, after attending a memorial service, we held a luncheon for a group of about 25. Our server was Angelic who did an outstanding job attending to our needs. The manager, Jazmin, went far and beyond in making this luncheon special. Thank you to Arturo and family for everything! This family run establishment is a gem .

Came here 5 minutes before happy hour ended and was able to order a few of their happy hour deals... $5 draft beer and the fundido. We ordered a few of the specialties and it was delicious! Chicken Mole was a thumbs up from my husband whose family is from Puebla and he knows good mole! I had the lobster enchiladas and it was fantastic! So flavorful and plenty of lobster! The only thing I didn't care was the decor.it just didn't go with anything and was tacky! All in all, service was good and I will be back!

3 1/2 stars Nice and large, plenty of space. TVs on the wall where you can see from most seating. We had a Posole, Enchiladas with red sauce, and a Pinot Grigio. Wifey likes the soup and wine. My red sauce was just okay and the enchiladas were decent. My Spanish rice was lukewarm, so not too tasty. The chips and salsa were good. The waitress Reyna, was not bad. A bit more enthusiasm would have went a long way. Overall, not bad. I liked the restaurant.

We recommend the flautas and the fried ice-cream. Don't have a photo of the flautas because we ate them so quicklyThe service was excellent. Everyone is so friendly. We love the ambiance, the music was not too loud, it was just right, so my husband and I we're actually able to have a conversation and hear eachother. When it used to be Kalaveras, it was too loud.
