Los Fredo's Mexican Food

This is just a casual fast food Mexican food restaurant. They offer everything that you could think of when it comes to Mexican food. Everything that I have tried has been good. I typically come here for their breakfast burritos. They have some of the best breakfast burritos around. The breakfast burritos are a little pricey but it's worth it. They are very big and I usually eat half and save the other half for later. The service is usually pretty fast. The employees seem nice enough and they have never gotten my order wrong. I wouldn't drive out of my way for this place. But if you're in the area I would recommend it.

"Leadership update: We're still working on it but, don't hold your breath!"I LOVED this place, yes past tense. I frequented this restaurant once a week for the past two years and it saddens and upsets me that I will no longer give them my business.My wife and I craved their shrimp tacos and carne asada nachos, so we decided to stop by before heading home from such a long day running errands. A hard life, but someone's gotta live it! Once we were comfortably positioned in front of the TV in our cozy bedroom, we noticed that my wife's order was incorrect. GASP! They gave her the chile rellenos plate. DOUBLE GASP! Not the shrimp tacos she originally ordered. She tried to eat it seeing as how we were already home; however, it was too spicy. Poor thing, she gave it her best shot!I suggested that she call Los Fredos and explain the mishap and see about returning the order. Silly us, what were we thinking? A woman who we nicknamed "smiley" answered the phone and as my wife began to tell her what had happened, smiley shouted, "If you don't like the food or can't eat it, bring it back for your refund!" Hanging up we were shocked at the treatment from the so-called owner.My wife and I jumped into our car and drove 15 minutes to the restaurant to get our order corrected or, at least our money reimbursed. Fair, no? Once we arrived, I told the cashier that we were returning my wife's plate and would like the order she placed the first time, ya know, now 30 minutes ago? Smiley refused to hear our explanation of what had happened and outright called us liars and refused to fix her another plate. Smiley handed over the money and we noticed that she only gave back half the bill. I pointed out that we also ordered the carne asada fries and seeing that we had to make the trip out here, would either like it replaced or reimbursed. Smiley would not give us the full amount, she said crossing her arms in a huff, "not my problem." WHAT!! Are you ducking kidding me? After trying and failing to argue our point of view, my wife and I left without food, half our bill comped, and tempers flared by a bad attitude. What a douche bonnet!The food was great and will be missed, but ya ain't the only Mexican place in town. I feel so sorry for the staff who looked apologetic and helpless to assist, to have to work with such a radiant ray of sunshine. Enter sarcasm here.Heaven, forbid you find yourself in a standoff with Madame Smiley. Save yourself the grief and eat elsewhere.My wife left a "glowing" review about our experience but, I feel compelled to warn others. Ooops, I dropped something, the truth.

I placed an order for the shrimp combination plate and my Wife had the Congo burrito. Unfortunately, I accidentally said I wanted the number 22, which is the chili verde. However, I did say shrimp. "Smiley" as she's known between my Wife and I, did not clarify upon placing our order. When we got home 10 minutes later we noticed that my order was incorrect. I tried to eat it but, it was just too spicy so my Wife suggested we call in the error. "Smiley" answered and I explained the mishap and rather than offering a solution, she barked, "if you want a refund come and bring it in." So, we did. My Wife and I showed up with the food in tow and spoke to "Smiley" since she took our order and advised us to come in. Not only was she argumentative and condescending during the entire conversation, she reimbursed me for my plate and not my wife's very cold burrito. Not my problem she muttered. We. Were. LIVID! Now? My poor Wife is stuck with a cold burrito and no refund or replacement took place. We felt helpless and terribly angry. Never, EVER, had either of us been spoken to or handled this way in a restaurant establishment. Very unprofessional and crude to her customers.

I was driving home at 930p last night and I was absolutely starving and desperately searching for dinner. I was heading towards a neighboring restaurant that was closed.Expectations were very low -- the overall Yelp rating wasn't good, the menu board pictures were dated and unappetizing, the exterior was drab, and what reputable establishments are open 24 hours AND serve good food???!!Turns out a million moms were right -- "Don't judge a book by its cover."I had the California burrito ($10.99) and it was awesome!!! The burrito was piping hot, massive, and loaded with chunky carne asada and crispy French fries. It's not going to win any James Beard awards and it's not some uber-fancy modern Mexican restaurant, but it is open 24 hours and tastes pretty good! 5 stars!

Hello friends, I haven't updated in a long time but I was recently visiting in a hospital nearby and got hungry during lunch and looked for a local Mexican food place to eat.I found this very charming, Clean looking place, almost directly across from the hospital. It's name is Los Fredo's As we all know, looks isn't always going to be as equivalent as the pricing or food quality. I am so so happy to report this place not only had amazing prices because it was taco Tuesday but the food was amazing. It was a large portion especially due to the price. I look forward to eating here the next time I'm in the area. And taking my kids. I took some pictures below of just the things I ordered.

Was in Riverside yesterday and when I was heading home I saw this place and every time I see a Mexican restaurant with a drive through I have to get a carne asada burrito, so I scooooped up this heavy-ass carne asada burrito and it was stackkkkked with meat for the gainz. Burrito was a 10/10 for an asada burrito, the salsa was good too but a little watery I like my salsa thicker like my women so I'll give the salsa a 7/10 but I definitely recommend trying this place don't let those weak ass reviews keep you from trying this burrito!

My first time here and it was so good! We ordered at 3am. Got the beef crunchy taco plate, 5 taquitos, and 2 potato tacos. Everything was delicious but my favorite were the potato tacos! Love the toppings on everything. The price was great as well as the service, fast and friendly. We'll definitely be coming back!

Tuesday taco special is $1.99 and delicious. I got hard she'll chicken with added onion and cilantro. The 3 piece taquitos with guacamole delicious too. Red salsa not spicy, but very good.

Worst chile relleno burrito I've ever had. The Chile was hard and had no cheese. Mostly rice and beans the bigger part of the burrito had that small peice of Chile in it and it was all egg.

Haven't been impressed with the quality lately. This bean and cheese burrito was super skimpy. All tortilla. The lady working drive thru is kind but the cook isn't consistent. I don't even want to eat this to be honest. Cheese not even melted, some signs of dirty stove top. Just keeping it 100 so you guys can do better.
