Today we Felt like eating a Torta! We have tried many places around Riverside and couldn't decide where to go and buy some. My wife remembered we had seen this food truck in our neighborhood, so we decided to give it a try!We ordered a carne asada Torta for my wife and a Ham Torta for me. My Torta (Ham) was flavorful with toasty bread and fresh ingredients! Mi wife's Torta was good, however it was lacking flavor in my honest opinion. It had fresh ingredients just like mine but the meat was missing some flavor. We asked for salsa on the side and we got 4 little containers two green and two red salsas, unfortunately this salsas were missing some flavor too.Overall a good experience, I will definitely go back and try some other menu items to give a more accurate review.

I had to try this food truck since I always drive by it. Worth the stop! The California burrito had great flavor. I always go to Jilbertos so this was a nice change and by the end of my burrito it fell apart. A great sloppy mess though. I also got the asada torta. It was lacking something I couldn't figure it out. They provided green and red sauce and a bag of lime. I put some lime juice and red sauce to spruce up the flavor and it helped a bit. I will have to try the Cuban next time with pastor or ham. I was definitely in a surprise I wasn't expecting two tortas. I know some places serve two and cut in half but I wasn't expecting the one half to look like a burger!! That might be me since I don't get tortas often. I was able to save one for leftovers.

Lolita's Tacos bops around DTLA and I had heard good things, which was encouraging given the DTLA taco scene can be surprisingly weak compared to East LA or K-Town. However, they really are on the wrong side of the perfect storm that is the arrival of Tacos 1986. I had both in quick succession, and it simply isn't even close to the point where Lolita's is rendered essentially just okay. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? The woman who runs the counter at Lolita's couldn't be sweeter, and they're quick to sling out your order which is always appreciated at a truck. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost?$2.00 each is a reasonable price for a street taco especially in the heart of downtown. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food?So in all my tacos from Lolita's were just okay. The chorizo was the winner, the pastor was fine, and the carne asada was admittedly weak especially compared to what you can get literally steps away at Tacos 1986. From there the salsas were fine and the tortillas seemingly store bought. Single Star. Star 5: Would you be excited to go back?Lolita's simply isn't memorable. No Star.

WHYYYY did you guys leave downtown Los Angeles?!? This was the only really good traditional Mexican-American street food in DTLA. Surprisingly most of the tacos and burritos trucks and togo spots up there are terrivle. This one was actually really good. I hope you guys come back to DTLA soon. This Philly cheesesteak truck that also has mexican food parks there now. I haven't tried it yet, but I doubt it's as good as Lolita's :(

BEST TACO TRUCK IN DOWNTOWN!!my absolute favorite is the milanesa torta, but everything else is just as amazing. The people running it are the nicest most amazing people and it shows in the food and service!

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this gem one night when we were wandering downtown and were pleasantly surprised. I got a burrito and it tastes so fresh and grilled to the right amount of crisp. My boyfriend got a carne asada torta, but his only complaint was that the meat quality was fatty and chewy. Overall a great place for late night cravings!
