Locals Public House

This little gem is local and i'm sad that it was my first time going . Nice little vibe seems like a lot of local ppl . Bartenders very friendly and recommended a lot of good drinks and food . We had the tacos and flat bread ! def nice if you want a chill date night .

We came at 9:20 am on a Sunday to have breakfast. I orders the Monte Christo (deconstructed) and the cook Johnny came out to talk to me about my preferences. Impressive! And his food was delicious. Hubby ordered the Sammy and it looked amazing!The service here is average, and very friendly even though it's slow going. It's a bar mainly with only a few tables for diners. Ambiance is very loud. Not a place for a romantic brunch, so go somewhere else if that's what you're looking for! The food is excellent, and well worth the noisy interference of a half dozen obviously drunk men (at 9:30 in the morning!).

Friendly staff and would like to come here on a weekend or perhaps around the dinner hours to try the food.

Stars didn't change but wanted to update. They no longer offer the Wednesday spaghetti to go. The "owner" claims it was always dine in only. You only have like 5 tables and a bar and it's so loud in there you can't even order a drink without screaming. I have been coming here for years but honestly they will survive without me. I have ordered the spaghetti to go probably 25-30 times but I guess according to the owner it was never supposed to be to go. I wonder if they know there is a restaurant next door that has no issue with food to go? It's ok. Lots of other places to spend my money and they won't miss me.

Tiny hole in the wall randomly located sports bar that had super friendly people and delicious food. The bartender was holding it down while she was alone and made sure you got your money's worth for the drink you're about to enjoy. The Cuban sandwich was freaking delicious. The pepperoni flatbread was so tasty. The nachos were super flavorful. However they cook their meat is perfect! The pretzel was so good too. I wish the inside was larger and they offered a mixed drink menu. Overall worth stopping at again.

Today for game day I went in to grab some appetizers and watch the game with my fiancé and my five-year-old son... I've never been to locals public house before having just moved to Riverside. I've only ever seen the outside of the place, not knowing it was strictly a bar. Since I was with my five-year-old son, I was rudely rushed and shoot out by a blonde woman whom I'm guessing was a bartender/server. The interaction lasted no more than a minute. As soon as we walked through the door, we were being corralled back out...I also being a bartender of 12+ years would not come back to this establishment for simply being treated poorly when it could've been handled with better decorum for something that was merely a small mistake. It's severely disappointing when people who are in the fellow service industry lack in obvious matters.

Came her with my family to try and get some brunch for my birthday. Drove 30 mins to this place only to find out they don't serve anyone 21 and under. The city and surrounding areas are in dire need of good quality family friendly places and it's unfortunate that this location doesn't cater to that even though their name implies it's a location you can bring your family and hang out at the local restaurant. I will try to return to give this place a chance and update my review but considering I don't live in this state, it may be a while before I ever go back here

We tried Locals for the first time today and I can tell you we will be back and recommend it to all of our friends!! Good atmosphere Music was not loud and obnoxious. They played nice comfortable music and not blaring loud. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing!!

Ended up here because it was open & I was in the area. Only drinks with friends. Will go back to try the food. Friendly fun local bar nearby my friends house. The pricing was fair and the pour was generous. Bartender, super sweet and attentive. Friendly crowd great outdoor seating. Not exactly a dive bar (my jam) but carries the essence needed for that laidback atmosphere. Recommend for the person who likes a relaxed non generic vibe.
