Let's Hibachi California

Had Habachi out for my dads birthday and we loved it!!!! Paul was our chef and did an amazing job. He was kind, polite and made it fun. My dad enjoyed it and the whole family as well. We will definitely do this again. It was also on Christmas Day so it was awesome to have some one come to us when all the restaurants are closed on this day.

I'm fucked up on pineapple sake.A backyard hibachi birthday got me fucked up. I was gonna do homework after this, but my plans have changed. Warren G and Special K brought the party with what I thought were squirt bottles of oil but turned out to be sake. "I would have shared a quote with you if I could remember one," says one party attendee, "but I can't remember one.""I've known I was gonna catch a shrimp in my mouth since Monday," says my friend pictured (see fig. 1), "so I've been practicing with grapes since then."She did in fact catch a piece of food."Born again comes to mind." Says the same friend. We had a wonderful time and would recommend Warren G and Special K to come to your backyard and rock your world.

FYI...I should have been more detailed in my expectations, but I assumed the chef would "read the room" more. I was expecting a night of yummy food fun, and a little less of the alcohol experience. I think it is great to build that in, but I feel like there should be more of a focus on creating a food show, instead of pushing alcohol. I think the chef was ready for more of a "fun" group, but my birthday did include my parents/family & my son.Because of that lack of enthusiasm for the alcohol part, I feel that the chef should have pivoted and done more food based tricks, and because he didn't he was really only there for an hour, which I was slightly disappointed about.The per person price is pretty expensive, so I expected more of a 1 1/2 to 2 hour show and didn't feel like I got that.Also, I do feel the chefs should slow down a bit, as my party felt rushed & missed some of the things he was doing, which again I was paying for/expecting, and love about hibachi!

I had the pleasure of having Adam come out to do a private home hibachi party. Adam had amazing culinary skills and was entertaining and enthusiastic throughout the entire night. We were having a birthday celebration and he put a lit up crown on the birthday girl which made it a very special experience for her. He was equipped with saki shots in a squirt bottle and a super soaker! We had such a great time and he kept the party going all night with fun and games and excellent food. He kept our party eating the whole time and all of his food had such good flavor and was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend his service for a private party. He was very professional and had a good time.

Paul was the ABSOLUTE BEST! Our group thought this would be a fun idea, but had know idea just how great it would be. Paul was right on time, and was an absolute gem. The best hibachi show ever. AND the food was so good - very high quality. We already want to do this again.

I must admit, I was worried that I was in for a scam when I reached out to Let's Hibachi to cater my husband's birthday dinner in the middle of nowhere Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley/Landers, California. However, I put my trust in a fellow Yelp Elite Squad member's review that they indeed would travel to the Palm Springs area and make it a memorable experience. It also helped that Madeline (the reservations manager) was communicative which eased my remaining concerns. Let's Hibachi is still fairly new to the Palm Springs area, so I was on my own in terms of finding supplies for set up but Amazon and my AirBnB host helped me figure things out. Jimmy was our hibachi chef and was great. He was communicative about his ETA (even arrived early) and flexible with our setup. I had two locations in mind but wanted to make sure all would be safe and comfortable as we were dealing with strong winds and heat out in the desert. We decided to have dinner indoors which was the right call for my party (I had to sacrifice the paper lanterns I purchased for decor but the hand fans I purchased made up for the cuteness and bonus points for utility). To make our dinner work we simply needed to find the spot with the highest point from the ceiling (helped our AirBnB was a geodome), increase ventilation and make sure no sprinklers would rain on our parade. Jimmy rolled with the punches (one mouth less more to feed only meant more food for others). He was talented and entertaining and still can hear him saying, "More Sake, More Happy." I would gladly work with Madeline and Jimmy again and highly recommend Let's Hibachi for your next gathering.

Timothy is great! We had a birthday party tonight for my daughter on December 24th and he was so entertaining and was so much fun! The food was amazing!

Chef Alex was great! He was so entertaining, food was 10/10. MORE SAKE!! Everyone loved his services and food! I highly recommend Chef Alex!
