Las Vegas Burger is a good example of the little, independent hamburger joints that used to dot Southern California but have slowly disappeared over the last couple of decades. Their menu is diverse, offering breakfast selections, burgers, sandwiches, and dinner plates featuring both American and Mexican cuisine (and even some daily specials) - and all at reasonable pricing!As this was my first time visiting, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the dining area. Being on one of Pomona's main thoroughfares, I anticipated quite a different "ambiance," but it's evident that the staff takes pride in both their food and restaurant cleanliness. Similarly, the staff was friendly and efficient - even bringing my "to go" order out to me instead of just calling me to the counter when it was ready. Be aware that there is no parking lot entry from Holt Avenue - it's accessed on White Avenue only (along the side). Realizing this can keep you from needing to double back if traveling east on Holt. I look forward to sampling more of their menu when driving through Pomona. The cheeseburger and onion rings I got were fantastic. The fish tacos here are amazing. We made it a habit to have fish tacos every Tuesday now. They're 1.99 on Tues. Excellent customer service. Nice staff. Clean. Plenty of seats.

This was a very mixed experience. Brought the fam here, it's a good place to go if everyone wants something different. They only get 3 with the caveat that I WILL go back and give them another shot. First the good, my husband said his burger was amazing and we all agreed the fries were great, and my youngest was in love with her grilled cheese. The woman who took our order only spoke Spanish, which would have been fine, except I wouldn't even tell she was speaking Spanish because the music was loud and she wasn't talking loud enough. I think she was new and kinda shy. She'll get better. Secondly the fried chicken was over cooked, visibly. And lastly, and the reason for the loss of the 2nd star while my fish tacos were great, the rice and beans were really bland, and if you're gonna serve Mexican food, the rice and beans need to be impeccable, they set the mood for the whole plate. Two tacos did not satiate my appetite (we arrived ravenously starving) and I was left unsatisfied. Next time I'll go back for breakfast and give them another shot.

PRO-TIP: Check in for a free Agua Fresca!We got the:1) Fries:-HUGE plate of fries.-They're standard diner fries that are nicely crispy outside and a fluffy on the inside. Great when you're there but not really something I recommend taking home and saving for later unless you have an air fryer.-Enough to share between 3 hungry adults for sure.2) Menudo:-Also another HEAPING HUGE PORTION.-They'll ask if you would like to have those little dough balls (masa harina) in your menudo and the obvious answer is "Yes, please!". It absorbs the broth nicely and adds another dimension of texture with the doughy chewiness into an already delicious soup.-Nice and savory with an abundant amount of offal and a peppery taste. It also came with some limes, cilantro, and onions to add to taste.-Great on a cold night.3) LV Burger:-This is their "famous Vegas Burger"-It comes with bacon, special sauce, pepper Jack cheese, jalapeno, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato.-Standard solid burger that comes with a kick from the jalapeno and the onions. Veggies were fresh.4) Treasure BBQ Burger:-It comes with onion rings, BBQ sauce, bacon, and cheese.-This is just a bigger western burger to be honest. Not bad but nothing to write home about.-The onion rings were sizeable and decently crispy though.Solid place to get some Mexican and fast food.

One of the best , if not the best hole in the wall restaurant in Pomona !Their burgers are rather big , delicious and a great price. Super classic old school burgers.Their carne asada tacos are my #1 favorite tacos in all of Pomona , they have so much flavor and are never dry. Every item off the menu that I've ever purchased has been delicious.I usually get my food to go , but the inside is clean and well maintained. They recently did some upgrades with their register and menu so it's pretty modern now . Workers are always super friendly and kind. As people have mentioned , the parking is not the best but it's worth it . Definitely recommend checking this place out !!
