La Tia has the best Mexican food in town hands down in Pomona. I've been going there since they opened the owner and her family are very hard working. The food is great tasting.

Thank you Yelpers for helping me find this delicious place. It's located right next to a car repair strip mall and has ample parking. There is an A letter grade in the window and also a sign that states EBT is accepted there. The sign on the register is confusing because it has all the stickers from the credit card companies but there's also a homemade sign that says Cash Only and I noticed a credit card reader on the counter. I happened to have cash on me for once so I didn't question it. Just in case, be prepared and have cash when you come here. The woman at the register was nice and took my to-go order. After I ordered I asked for a cup for salsa. She gives me ONE. In her defense it is a pretty good size condiment cup with lid, but there are 3 salsas, 1 guacamole sauce and peppers and carrots in the salsa bar. I chose the red salsa but I also wanted another salsa that looked really good, so I asked for 1 more cup. She responds and says, "for one burrito?" Why does it matter how much salsa I need/want for one burrito? Maybe they shouldn't have a salsa bar if they want to control how much one gets! I would have liked to get some of the guac sauce to try also but I didn't dare ask for another cup. I also had to ask for the FREE coffee because it wasn't given to me when I ordered. On to the FOOD:I ordered a potato, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito which comes with a free coffee for $3.50 +tax. The flour tortilla was thin and either homemade or they buy the uncooked tortillas that they sell at the grocery store. Whichever it was, it was really good and soft. The egg was fluffy and scrambled, not that flat piece of egg omelette that most restaurants put in a breakfast burrito. The potatoes were not hash browns, but soft chunks of potatoey goodness. The cheese was a good accompaniment to the fillings and wasn't overwhelming. The two salsas that I did get we're both very well seasoned and flavorful. I'm thinking about ordering some for a party I'm hosting. I thought the red was spicy until I tasted the roasted red pepper which was spicy and smoky and so delicious. In summary, the burrito I had was delicious and I would come back again for another one and to also order other items on the menu.4 stars is for the food, but I had to take off 1 star for the customer service, or lack thereof.

This place is delicious and worth the price! Had to get an oil change next door and was hungry after a morning workout so the fiancé and I decided to try it out.Ordered a potato, eggs and cheese breakfast burrito and it was fire! It was delicious, a perfect size and the price was definitely on the cheaper side! They also offer a free cup of coffee with breakfast, however I don't drink coffee so I didn't take it. The breakfast burrito had enough of all the ingredients and it was filling! Really enjoyed it.We went back again for lunch, and my fiancé tried a gordita and a burrito which he asked to have chicharron, chorizo, and carne asada...he definitely enjoyed it! Again, the portions were perfect and the total made us a lot happier too! The employees are very friendly as well and helpful. There is outdoor and indoor seatingWill definitely come here often. Definitely a great place to try out in Pomona when craving delicious Mexican food!

Small hole in the wall, located in the not so nice part of Pomona. This place is close by my work, and the prices are decent. I've tried their tacos, flautas, tortas, made-to-order guac.... all very well made.If you eat in, they serve you chips and salsa (fresh). They have a salsa bar, and they make their aguas frescas daily. They have specials hand-written on a small chalkboard by the register, I recommend the 3 tacos/rice/beans & med. drink for $5.99

The lady was rude (not the owner) I ordered over $40 of food. She gave me 2 salsas. When I asked her for more she changed me $1 each. When I tried to explain how much food I ordered she walked away. When I got home my taco only had half the meat. In the past the food was great la Tia was nice (owner). If I go back and that same lady is behind the counter and making food I'll just pass on it.
