La Tapatia Mexican Grill

Found this little gem driving to find something to eat. The food was AMAZING!! Customer service was GREAT! And the place is super CLEAN!! They give you complementary charro beans that were so tasty. And a full service salsa bar. We will definitely be back to try more.

We have been coming to this establishment for a good year. I have lived in the area for almost 6 years and I'm ashamed to say I had never tried this place sooner. Prices are very good considering the inflation. Best potato taco meal I've ever had. Their staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. I also love the TV selection as they cater to everyone with sports, sitcoms, and even SpongeBob from time to time. The atmosphere is upbeat and I will also give big kudos for the salsa bar. The salsas are all very flavorful. The best one in my opinion is the spicy, it gets your nose a little runny and enhances the food. Also, the passion fruit and pineapple agua fresca is top notch. One of the best agua fresca flavors I have had in the I.E. Real fruit inside and quenches the thirst tremendously. The rice and beans that come with each meal are great as well and they also offer frijoles charros for free! If you scoop down deep you can get nice chunks of bacon to go with the beans. Thank you guys for all your hard work

Food and service was great. Nice little spot with a good variety of Mexican food. Will definitely be coming back.

I usually like their food actually no complaints about that But Taco Tuesdays sign advertising crispy taco $1.95 however it's only for a small size chicken or potato and even though beef is crispy they charge full price I file that under sneaky

Someone once said you can't find good Mexican food in a strip mallThat person was wrong. This place is awesome. Lots to enjoy here from the wide arrange of tasty (and spicy if that is your thing) salsa to friendly staff. Lots of seating and plenty of TV's to watch sports upon.I forgot the name of the burrito I got but it was delicious. Lott'a food for a decent price - heck this place may be a better value than Taco Bell at this pointAlso a bonus - they have Coca Cola from Mexico

Overall 10/10 recommend! The atmosphere is fun and lively while also very clean. The staff are really nice and helpful & the food is amazing! I've had their potato tacos plate twice and finish every last bite each time. The beans are so rich and delicious, the rice is seasoned perfectly, and the tacos are crispy and fresh. I love their potato tacos so much because the potato is seasoned just right and has the right texture. The churros are the best ones I ever had -- so crispy and crunchy, but soft and fluffy on the inside. It's hard not to finish these like it's a race, haha. Their agua frescas are delicious and have the right amount of sweetness, they're always made fresh. I highly recommend both of the green salsas (green mild & the mild avocado verde). Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Food was pretty decent! I was actually really surprised that this place doesn't give you free chips with your purchase (even when dinning in). I spent $36 and I would have had to pay an additional amount for chips if I decided. I have had better burritos and tacos elsewhere in Northern CA and while I'm out here on business, I haven't found a great Mexican food place. The food here was 6.5-7/10The staff was very friendly and nice, found our answers to my questions since they were new at the register.

If your in the Upland area and want authentic Mexican food, please run here! Each time I come, the service is exceptional and I love that consistency. The restaurant is pretty spacious and always clean. I ordered the Chorizo and eggs breakfast plate which came with rice and chorizo beans. At least, I think they are chorizo beans- the flavor is phenomenal. The portions are generous and before they bring you your entree, they give you a small bowl of frijoles de La hoya- those beans have so much flavor and they were super fresh. I also placed a to go order which was the Delux breakfast which came with breakfast potatoes, bacon, eggs and pancakes. I also ordered the green chilaquiles and eggs plate which I hear were delicious as well. To wash it all down, I ordered their Agua Fresca - the pineapple and passion fruit, soooo good! I've been here multiple times and I'm never disappointed.

The best street tacos!! Staff is always very friendly and this is a great place to relax and eat for a family with kids. Ours love the kids meal options, too. Salsa bar and beans are a great addition and we appreciate the fountain drink options.

La Tapatia has become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.Whether it's lunch, dinner or breakfast, you can order any item at any hour of the day.Waiters are friendly and courteous.I enjoy their enchiladas, tacos, chorizo and eggs plus their chillaquiles with eggs.I love that they have a self serve soda bar with free re fills.Oh, I must mention that their prices are very reasonable.
