La Poblanita Restaurant

We love supporting family owned restaurants so my boyfriend and I came here to get a Cemita. The service was fast but I don't think they speak English, so my boyfriend did all the talking lol. The cemitas were a bit smaller compared to others that we've tried. The quesillo cheese also tasted a little old but overall the flavor of the cemitas were decent.There aren't a lot of places near here that sell cemitas so this was a good place to get that fix. There is also limited seating and they charge for water so just be cautious of that. The ambiance of the restaurant was kind of random, they have a penguin in the middle of the seating area which was kinda of funny.

Solid food. Loved the handmade tortillas and the opportunity to dust off my Spanish. That's always been my rule, I'll switch to a foreign language if I feel like I speak that better than the other party trying to speak English. Definitely the case at this establishment that my Spanish was better than their English. Just a heads up. The food was very tasty and came out as it was ready instead of all together. Fine by me because we were there with hungry kids. I had a pumpkin flower quesadilla (similar to a cactus or peppers consistency) which was fun and interesting, and most importantly... tasty. I do wish it came with a side of salsa or something. My hubby did a bunch of different tacos and was pleased with his lunch. Fast and easy. I'd visit this place again. Wasn't too expensive either so it was a good value, which is getting harder to find these days. Seating was somewhat limited so you're probably better off with 5 (or fewer) people in your group.

I was back up in the area emptying a storage unit and noticed this place (I love looking for new little "hole-in-the-walls" as the food is usually much better, and this place did in fact deliver. At the time the restaurant seemed to have only been opened a short time, this yelp page didn't even exist.The menu was pretty simple but I was one of the first there this particular morning and I saw something delicious in a plastic wrapped pan to the side and asked if it was birria and it was, it was even goat birria! I immediately ordered a burrito with it and it was amazing. The ladies were very nice and even brought the food to you. I definitely recommend and may even pop in today as I'm back in the area!

Fui por un menudo y les pregunté que si tenían con granos y me dijieron que sí cuál fue mi sorpresa que cuando me estoy comiendo el menudo le pusieron los granos del pozole y luego se les fueron unos huesos del pozole la verdad ya no pensaba ir ahí por qué las últimas veces que eh ido la comida ya no sabe igual y además me parece que esta muy cara para lo simple y sin sabor que ahora está la comida!! LA VERDAD ES MEJOR QUE VAYAN A OTRO LUGAR NUNCA MÁS VUELVO A ESE LUGAR
