La Picosita Mexican Food

1dt time here and Oh my goodness I was in shocked at this place. The food was prepared perfect, the smell was authentic and the wait for the food didn't take long.Definitely recommended this spot and will be returning soon to try other items on the menu

Owner Alex greeted us upon arriving to the establishment. He was very friendly and kind! Parking lot is small, and not the greatest of area... as homeless are sleeping in front of the restaurant door.The food was served hot, and was decent. The pricing for burritos was $8.50-$10.50, average plate price was $12-$15. There is NO pricing on the menu board. The hot sauces have good flavor, I liked them mixed together.

If you are looking for some excellent menudo, this the place to go. I have gone to various restaurants for menudo but this establishment has the best tasting menudo around. I have gone there throughout the years and the menudo is consistently very good. They have two bowl sizes for the menudo, and when ordering the cashier will show you the bowls so you can pick which size you want. No need to ask how big is the small one or the large one. The menudo is served piping hot. The place is small but decent. The atmosphere is nice. The service is excellent with the waitresses being courteous and attentive to one's needs. I will keep returning to this place as long as they do not change the recipe for the menudo. Best menudo ever!

The food is great here at such a unbelievable price. I had the torta, fries and drink. The nice waitress brought the food to me and the man holding down the fort offered spectacular service at the cashier. I still can't believe my sit down meal was under $10. The waitress deserved a good tip with it. Will come again when I'm in the area.

I love this place! The guy at register is alway so friendly and welcoming. His prices are so affordable such great deals for good food! The green sauce is bomb too

Came in here with my husband for the first time today. We both were blown away with how good the food is! It's been a few hours and I'm still thinking about their tacos dorados! Hands down the best authentic Mexican you can find and I'm looking forward to coming again.ETA: Came back the next day, it's that good and now I'm addicted lol

My parents love La Picosita. I really enjoy the chili peanuts they sell. Service is great. Staff is friendly.
