This place is definitely a hidden gem here in Hemet. The food was extremely delicious. The service was amazing. The restaurant was clean and the decor was very friendly oriented. Clean restaurant.

5/5 hands down! Delicious, home style Mexican food with excellent service! The chips and salsa are flavorful and fresh, the fajitas and so tasty and the tacos are perfect! We love it here!

Food is so delicious! Service was amazing! Ambiance is clean and nice! The only thing I didn't care for was their margarita. Salsa is so fresh and good!

My wife and I came to town last night from San Diego and were looking for a place to grab lunch. She asked a friend of hers who lives in the area and she recommended La Morenita. When we got there, we walked inside and noticed quite a few people so we knew the place had to be good. We were right!We were seated and given our menus along with chips and salsa. After a few minutes, the waitress came by to take our order. After a short amount of time, our drinks and sopes came out. The sopes tasted just like the ones that my in-laws (from Mexico) make and we felt like we were sitting in their living room having dinner. Definite home style cooking here! We were so full by the time that we got done that we ended up taking the leftovers back to our hotel room and eating them for dinner.Thanks for a great meal and for great service. We will be back!

The food is soooo good and the service is always amazing. The prices are also more than reasonable. I ordered the molcajete, a michelada, beer and a side of taquitos all for $60. Definitely found my new spot for Mexican food! Oh and Tuesdays they have $5 margs! So good!

The staff is great, wonderful waitress/cashier that helped us was cheery and all smiles.Ambiance is great; I initially choose this spot due to the outside patio which is full roof'ed and sun protected; trying to hold to the covid protocols until at least this next variant is out of the way.Good little mom and pop spot; we took our food to go; which consisted of a carne asada burrito and chicken fajita plate meal.The burrito was good and the salsa verde went well with it.The chicken fajita torts tasted freshly made.Walked out at about $35

We've made a special trip to visit this restaurant a few times. It's always so good. Great service too. We will definitely be back.

Great service! Salsas were extremely flavorful and delicious. The taquitos and bean tostada made for a yummy lunch. Clean and very busy.

This place is great! Clean establishment, friendly staff and great food. This place has amazing salsa and chips. My only complaint is the portions are a bit small compared to the prices but other than that great experience and we will be back.
