La Flor de La Michoacana

Stuck in traffic yesterday around 3 p.m., so I decided to release some stress and GET OFF of the 91 fwy. Felt like ice cream, so I Yelped it, of course. I love to try new things, and of course, being an elite Yelper, the 5 star rating caught my eye.So many flavors to choose from and the nice gentleman (most likely the owner) was SUPER nice and pleasant. I asked more than a few questions about the flavors and opted for the "walnut" (DELICIOUS) and the "tequila" Good and creamy, but I didn't taste much tequila. That's ok, cuz I still had a long drive home. LOLThe sugar cone was also delicious, crispy and super fresh! No wonder this place has 5 stars. Good luck with your business... I'll stop again whenever I pass because it's right off the freeway. Easy off and on...

We accidently stopped by this gem on our way home from the beach to surprise the kids and it was sooo good! They had a huge variety of flavors. Would definitely recommend

A million choices! All good- fast -good service! Can't beat it. We went in while waiting for tire repair. Everything on menu looked GOOD! And they take Apple Pay

This place is an ice-cream lover's dream come true! We walked in where immediately greeted by Julissa. She was so helpful and patient with me. There are so many things to choose from and I just couldn't make up mind. She took the time to have me taste the different flavors I was interested in and gave me descriptions of the flavors, as well. My little one chose the Bubble Gum popsicle and I chose the Nescafe on a cone. The Nescafé was amazing!...light, fluffy and creamy! When we were done, we both wanted another! Thank you, Julissa!

Definitely would recommend this place. You really get your money's worth of the dessert. I got a small cup of guava ice cream (no milk flavor) but it felt like a large with all the scoops they put in the cup. My friends got the mangonada which I got to taste. Both the ice cream and mangonada did NOT taste like artificial flavors. It's like you're eating the genuine fruits but in dessert form. A filling dessert that was much needed for the hot saturday I went through. This is a small store with no public restrooms but has a counter with stools where you can hang out and eat on, like I did with my friends. They also let you rate the flavors before you pick one. They were very patient with my indecisiveness.

This place has good mangonadas and paletas, but I've only been able to try it once because it has only been open 1 of 4 times I attempted to stop by during their posted business hours. Every time I come by around 6-7 pm the shop is closed, even though they are supposed to close at 8. Luckily I live close by or this would have been a huge waste of time.

The mangoneadas are definitely a treat! The sorbet they use is so flavorful. It was recommended to get the lime with the mango. I was impressed. Quality and value. The mango pieces were fresh too and plentiful! I also appreciated the 2 kinds of Mexican candy on top. This is a place to try! Next time I'm getting a paleta, there were over 20 flavors.

Vanessa was great and patient. There's so many choices and options so after a couple samples, I ended up buying a couple scoops of different things. Very delicious and fresh. Smelled nice in there too and it was clean!

I know ! No one should be eating this but when I'm craving junk food this is the spot to come. They have a variety of items, fruit and ice cream.

large servings, prices are great. The staff are helpful. Not enough chairs. They only have a few high stools so we ate in the car with our toddler.
