This little market is a hidden gem. They have everything in one stop including sweet bread. I haven't been in the area long and Eastvale doesn't have these Mexican grocery stores. But it's ok. Mira Loma is just around the corner to stop by here. The meat is super fresh and have excellent prices. Very tasty meat. They gave hot food to go as well and all the produce and spices your heart decides. Staff is very helpful and friendly and so are the customers. The store doesn't look so attractive from the front but don't let it deceive you. It's a great place to get your carne Asada, and notice for you menudo fans they have your menudo meat. Recommend it

I was very disappointed in the service at the store. The produce was decent but when I got to the register somebody was sending a money gram and it took 20 minutes! I was very frustrated that they did not open another register to help me and the people behind me. We all had to wait while the recipients of the money gram decided who could receive it and which bank they wanted to use.

Like Armando, I too had a bad experience with La Famosa market. I used to live in Moreno valley, and they have a store on Alessandro blvd. The guys there are really nice and their food is always fresh...not so for the mira loma store...My wife and I went to go buy a couple groceries from there on Sunday afternoon. My wife was adamant about not forgetting rice, because we were going to have that for dinner on Monday night, so we picked up a pack of rice. The following afternoon when I get home, dinner was not done, and I asked my wife why?...to which she said "The rice has worms in it!" I was like "wtf, worms?" So I went to take a look and sure enough...there was a bunch of little worms, smaller than maggots, mixed in with the rice that was in the pot as well as in the bag of the remaining rice my wife did not use.I immediately got on the phone and called them to let them know what had happened, they told me to just bring back the rice and they would give me another bag. When I went to the store, i took the pot and the leftover rice to show her the little worms that were inside. She said..go ahead and get another bag while I throw this away, so I did. When I went to look for another bag of rice, I inspected them thoroughly, because I didn't want to eat worms, and I noticed that 4 other bags had worms in them as well! She immediately pointed me towards some "new" rice they had received that day and said it was brand new. I pointed out to her that the other bags of rice had worms in them also, to which she stated, "I'll take care of those thank you". I got 2 brand new bags of rice, which were inspected as well, and went home to have my wife cook dinner. Now that was a pretty bad experience, but why 2 stars you ask? Because the lady was very nice and apologetic, and maybe a little embarrassed about what happened...They should check their inventory a little bit better. I'll just go to Perez Market from now on...a little bit farther away, but better quality...

If I can could give negative stars I would give it to them. My wife and I decided to try them out since they have other stores in the IE and were close by. They also had a sale on ranchera meat for carne asada. I ended up buying 12 pounds of it (total of $50) for my son's 1st birthday. We stopped by another neighborhood store, Perez Market and bought they marinated chicken (wont buy it anywhere else). When I got home I started to cook the ranchera. After cooking a couple of pieces I decided to try it. The first tiny piece was fine but when I got to another one I got a bad taste then bad after taste. Couldn't pin-point what it tasted like. Then people started to tell me that they tasted the same thing. I would of returned the meat back but my wife lost the receipt. But I very much doubt it that they would of given my money back. Will never go back and buy anything there again. Very bad experience. If it wasn't for the rest of the food my son's 1st birthday would of been ruined. DON'T BUY THE MEAT!!!!

My boyfriend and I order a bean, rice, and cheese burrito and just as we opened our burritos it smelled of rotten cheese. As my boyfriend took a bite and chewed it he immediately said to throw both away. We saw the store clerk as he threw them away. He offered a refund but I just said no. However we just won't go there and unfortunately would not recommend it.

I have bought tamales here for Christmas Eve for the last few years. I have always been very happy. This year I bought 3 dozen taquitos ( shredded beef and potato) and 2 dozen tamales. The food was great! Thanks!!

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Went in there to get maseca maza for tamales and come to find out it was all expired since April of 2019!! Told the cashier about the expired products and she seemed surprised so she said they had some maza in the meat dept. So we went to meat dept. They did in the refrigerator we went ahead and grabbed that one. There was no label on it so we didn't know the price or expiration date but given the fact that it was in the meat dept. We never would've thought that it would be spoiled or old. We took it up to the register and paid $17! Which is ridiculously high. Anyways we needed it right away so we paid and when we got home opened it and it was the worst smell ever the whole thing was spoiled. We had to throw it all away. My recommendations if you can go to a different store please do so. To avoid anyone getting food poisining. Won't be going there ever again.
