La Bufadora Baja Grill

Not sure if this location is affiliated with the La Bufadora in El Monte that I've been to but they make a mean fried fish taco like the ones made famous in Ensenada Mexico (and I've eaten many in Ensenada).It's interesting that they give salsas in presealed bags but that is for sure the cleanest way. Just haven't seen this done with REAL salsa. Both work with the fish tacos and I'd say they are medium heat. Check out my pics.

Very good food. Employees were very nice. And it was clean and not packed. I would come here again.

Not a bad place to grab some lunch for work or just for some Mexican food. Came here since my coworkers wanted to come here. It was my first time and I was told about their combo specials. I ended up getting the crispy potato tacos, a drink, and a side of fries to share. Everything was about $10 which is good price for a quick lunch these days! My potato tacos were decent and very fulfilling. Fries were piping hot and decent too. Place was pretty spacious and clean. I would give this a 4 stars based on my first experience but I won't be craving for it so much so I am not sure how often I will stop by.

My family and I have been here various times and have tried almost all items. I've also been here with coworkers and have turned others onto this place. Never disappoints.

Best burrito in a long time. They have shrimp or fish...I think that's the Ensenada vibe. But they also have surf and turf which is shrimp and asada. It's jam packed full of that, with some rice and beans. Unlike larger burritos which have lots of rice and beans.The pepper was hot, the salsa was not.It was all fresh, with the salsa was vacuum sealed. A bit of a waste of packing.

They got rid of the salsa bar (which was the best part),i just ordered the seafood soup ($17) CRAZY expensive! I paid it thinking it would come in a nice big bowl. Nope, it came in a tiny container with some nasty tortillas that were all chewy. I don't mind spending money when its worth it but this is NOT it.Also, I love olives but why put olives in a seafood soup? That's just a nasty mix.PASS.

This place has great service, great Mexican food, great seating area. I have found my go to Mexican food joint! These are items we've ordered that are delicious: -Asada, Fish, Shrimp Tacos - loaded with protein and topped with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, cream. -Birria Bowl - comes with tortillas which are kind of hard but the bowl is so good, full of meat. -Birria Quesadilla - stuffed with meat and cheese. -Potato Tacos - fried taco that is filled with mashed potatoes and topped with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, cream. -Fish and Chips - battered and fried nicely.The salsas are pre packed with expiration dates. They have a good heat level and very tasty. The staff is very kind and they keep this place very clean!

Great food, cute little restaurant. Nachos come with side of guacamole & salsa. Beer served also.

Good fish tacos and el pastor tacos were very good ! The sauce is what makes the tacos too and it was very yummy .individuallly packaged ! Lucky it's down the street from my work ! Will definitely returning frequently! Very clean establishment

This place has pretty good food. There are a lot of times I that I have tried other Mexican food restaurants around the area, but I always feel guilty eating them. I can say that I don't feel that way here. I placed an order on their website (not grub hub) and it was quite easy to select what I wanted, and you even have the ability to choose when you want to pick up your food. I can say that even though I scheduled my food to be picked up 2 hours later, it was freshly made, timed for my pickup. The person that helped me get my food was nice.FoodThe food like I mentioned did not feel real greasy, and was packed with flavor. One of the things I like most about this place is their peppers that comes with certain food that you order, they are so good. I would recommend all the food that I ordered here. Al Pastor Street TacoFish Taco (breaded)Carne Asada Nachos Regular The tacos were huge, and was packed. They also come with two different salsas that was great with the food. The Nachos was not the ones with the cheesy cheese liquid, but was topped with lettuce beans cheese, and was really good! I'm glad I gave this place a try again, when I first came by when they just opened, I did not know what to order. I found out that this is a chain, and this particular location has plenty of seating inside. Keep in mind that they have certain specials everyday, I like to take advantage of those and give new things a try. Until next then!
