Great place to bring family. Got a good deal on Groupon.Make sure you have good walking shoes because you'll be walking alot. Cash too would be good for activities and there are a couple there that charge $5 a transaction.Lots of vendors, shows, and things to look at.

First time ever going to a Ren Faire! I guess technically it's an Old World Festival so all "Old World" things were there from Nordic vikings, dragon slayers, wizards, pirates, fairies, knights, and even a Medieval themed Luffy from One Piece was there! I have to say, I think this is what I imagine conventions to be like for more casual nerds or boomers. Lots and lots of people were dressed up and role playing the characters that they were. People were singing, speaking in accents, etc. I want to mentioned that we were able to get a Groupon for 2 people so the entire entree fee was less than $20 for the both of us. Huge savings ! Parking is $5 for regular parking. There's VIP parking for you. I thought it was amusing that there were actual Parking Pirates that were guiding the incoming traffic. Easily could spend the entire day here. We came here on the last weekend, about 2 hours after the festival just opened. So most things were staffed and there was a good amount of people there already. Lots of shops and vendors of all sorts of things! Chainmail, shields, armor, swords, other Medieval weaponry, wands, wings, elf ears, candles, crystals, etc. I even got a taxidermy Ratatouille. As for food, I thought this was just okay. Lots of beer and ale (they even have a pub crawl). Some fair food like corn, wings, and some other supposedly period appropriate food like meat pies or scotched eggs, but lots of funny things like a teriyaki chicken bowl. I got a fruit ice for $6, kinda pricey but refreshing during the increasingly hot afternoon. As for things to do, there is SO MUCH. I can imagine spending an entire day here to thoroughly enjoy everything or if you have kids. So many people are dressed up and love playing their roles, even if they are not staff there. Remember to ask for pictures, but everyone was really chill about this. Multiple stages with all sorts of shows to watch such as a birds of prey show, story telling, comedy shows, aerial acrobats, and other interesting and neat feats. Knights riding their horses, people with their dogs and even a cat, and a small petting zoo with a donkey and other farm animals are there for petting and animal enjoyment. There are carnival games and I think a medieval carousel as well. Some PRO-TIPS are: 1) Bringing your own water since it gets so so so hot2) Wearing comfortable shoes since it's all a dirt lot and there's lots of walking around. 3) Dousing yourself in sunblock and bringing that sunblock since there's not much to.4) Bringing sunglasses and a hat, because once again, there's LOTS of sun. Definitely going to go back to this. I had such a fun time and next time I might just cosplay as Saber since it's so appropriate to show up as the King of England!

Yes, this is just yes. I love this renfaire (well fest). It's so much better than Irwindale pleasure faire; soooo much better. I've been going to renaissance faires for a very long time. And I can say as someone who travels to faires, I can offer a few good points. It's very open and spacious. I can walk in any way or path I want. Everything is so much cheaper. The food choices are perfect. It's more inclusive and immersive in comparison to Southern. Here, I'm not trapped like a rat, following a specific path filled with merchant pop-up tents. Here, I can watch shows; there are so many stages. Booths are actual building structures with a few pop-ups scattered. More shade too. Overall, I would skip out Irwindale for this fest, hands down. I'm just sad that 2024 may be it's last year. I hope the petition goes through.

We had a lovely time visiting this Renaissance festival. It is smaller than some others I've been to but everyone was very personable, talking with us and welcoming us. They also had a lot of free kid friendly activities, which was wonderful. My daughter got to hunt for knights, dragons, try some jousting, play some games, and explore the fashion of the time period. They also had some fun shows and music to watch and listen. The only things I didn't enjoy were some of the food items were awful, like bad bulk food. I laughed when the sign said fresh baked bread and we were given a Hawaiian roll. The other thing I would have enjoyed would be more venders for shopping but the ones they had were fun to explore. We will return next season.

I love Koroneburg. The food, shows, educational guilds, fun activities (like darts and catapults), and in such an immersive environment --- simply wonderful! I hope they will get their lease renewed to continue next year. There is a petition going around to really ensure this. If you get a chance, please sign it!!!

This charming Renaissance Faire is a hidden gem. It isn't overcrowded and overwhelming. This was my first time attending (5/25/24) and I was pleasantly surprised. I suggest going on the Barron's tour of the world which can be done by stopping by guest services. You will learn a lot and get a hands on experience from this tour. There are multiple shows to watch and activities as well. The shopping is great. The vendors have great prices. There are plenty of food and drink options. There is something for everyone at this Ren Faire. The historical battle reenactment was great watch and my guest and I were lucky enough to be escorted there by the Captain. It was a nice touch to an already great day.

We had a blast there and the kids absolutely loved it. The baby dragon and Knights Templar scavenger hunt kept them (and us) occupied the entire time. Everybody was so friendly there and role players interacted with the kids in a fun way. My boys got to sword fight a knight which was the highlight of their day. It was a lot larger than I expected. We will definitely go back and most importantly we will be in costume next time as well!

My wife and I decided to visit the Koroneburg Old World Festival over the Memorial Day weekend a few weeks back. If you come here with an open mind and come at the right time, this is definitely an enjoyable experience. I wouldn't say it was entirely for us though as we're not the type to dress up or immerse ourselves to that extent. This was our first Renaissance Fair visit, so we have no basis of comparison. But considering it was a holiday weekend, I really expected more from the fair. Maybe we came too early, since it was before lunch time. But many vendors and booths were not staffed. A lot of shops were not open yet. There was a smithing station that was empty, as was the archery area, and nothing going on in the central area. So really we just walked around, interacted with a few of the "locals" who approached us, but otherwise there wasn't too much to do. The food stalls seemed to just be opening and starting to cook as well, so we didn't try any of the food. That said, there were plenty of families dressed up who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Not sure if they were staff or guests though, since for the most part they were sitting together behind what appeared to be designated areas, and conversing (though in character). This was a fun visit, but not necessarily something I'd come back to since there really wasn't all that much to do.

A great time! If you're familiar with Renaissance faires, you're getting the true experience here. If not, this is a great introduction to the magic. Smaller than Irwindale, but only slightly, and a heck of a lot cheaper and less crowded. The food was great, shows are fun and everyone was very friendly. Also the permanent structure are a nice touch, gives it a more realistic feeling.Ground is dirt, not an issue but be aware for choice of shoes/clothing. Especially in case of rain.Looking forward to next year!
