Knockout Burgers & Gyros

I was in the mood for Greek food. I had no expectations from a food court location, but I have few choices in this area. What I ordered a chicken shawarma plate and a lamb gyro. What I got was a disgusting plated of old white rice, not orzo, not pilaf. Two day old rice with chicken that had no seasoning at all. This was just chicken, not shawarma. The hummus was clumpy and had zero flavor. Hummus is not hard to make. They did not provide any bread as most places do. The lamb gyro was the worst I've ever had. Either they sent me a side of ranch dressing or that was the worst tasting "tzatziki" sauce I've ever had. Maybe their burgers are good, but they should just remove Greek food from the menu.

They take such pride and care when making your food. And it's all made from scratch. I got the knockout potato and my husband got the Chicago dog and fries. My potato was absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be going back to try even more items!

The short in height and motherly worker at 10:30 AM Thursday asked if I wanted mushrooms in my Gyro. Also asked if I wanted to my onions grilled too. I was surprised and declined the mushrooms and said 'ok' to the grilled onions in the Gyro. She asked if I wanted lettuce and tomato and sauce too. I am used to Gyro sandwiches with those three along with raw onions. She also asked if I wanted other stuff in it so I chose the black olives and pickles. It was an interesting and tasty Gyro. She was the only worker that time of the day.The french fries, were ok-ok. I think they were crispy outside and undercooked inside. A bit low in the salt department too. The ketchup helped.Lemonade: I had a tough time determining if it was made with real lemons or not. Whereas my family tasted my lemonade and said it was real. But really I think the taste was ambiguous and leaned to the instant-mix side with a squeeze of lemon?If I wanted Gyros, I would give them a chance again just for the Gyros again. I hope I do not experience a frustrating long wait time like I see in other Yelp reviews on this place.

"I thought someone was playing a joke on us"Greek food seems to be a myth in Moreno Valley so we came in to try the gyros. This is a little spot in the food court of the mall but we dared to hope.My wife and I both ordered a gyro and we paid. Then, one of the two "workers" went to make the food. She slowly pulled out some processed meat strips. Then, she slowly pulled out some pita. She slowly pulled out some onions. Eventually, she starts cooking a gyro. For those grammar lovers out there, "a" means "one". She started cooking two strips of meat, enough for one gyro. For 8 minutes we stared at her cooking the (one) gyro and the cashier who was just standing at the cash register staring off in the distance. Eventually, the meat was done and she sliced the meat. Then she placed the meat on the pita and built and wrapped the gyro. Once that was wrapped and sitting by the stove, she took two more strips of meat and proceeded to "make another gyro". I've never seen someone move so slowly. 15-18 minutes later, the second one was finished. By now, the first gyro has been sitting and gotten cold.I thought someone was playing a joke on us. They can only manage to cook one gyro at a time? They couldn't somehow work together to make food? Or, just cook the right amount of meat all at once? We really had to leave a meal sitting OPEN for almost 20 minutes? On top of the cold food, it was flavorless and unenjoyable. If you come here looking to get more than one item of food, pray.Pray for faster speed.Pray for food arriving hot.Pray for them not to cook your food one piece at a time.Pray for some sort of flavor.*SPOILER ALERT* Your prayers will be unanswered.

Baked potato awesome! Chicago Hot Dog awesome! Loaded fries awesome too!!A new place to eat in the Moreno Valley Mall foot court!! Great first experience!!Can't wait to try more of the menu offerings!

Customer service was awful. Cashier barely looked at me. Once they called me up for my food they were both too focused on trying to find something in the back that they neglected to give the people in front of me their food, which was sitting there ready. When I finally got my food the French fries were cold and some were uncooked. The avacado on my avacado burger wasn't ripe, had to take it off my burger because it was hard.The people we're grabbing items with their gloves on and then going back to making the food.Wouldn't recommend this location.

Use to eat here a lot but My son and I got food poisoning after eating here for dinner... haven't been here since!

Got food from here. Everything was super burnt. It's like they had no idea how to not burn their food. It's disappointing. Hopefully this was just a once off and not how they normally cook their food.
