Kluddes Cast Iron

When we walked in we were told they were out of all their soups, pastas and onion rings.We decided to stay anyways. There were 6 in our party. All food came out at the same time even though we asked for salads first. Then one of our dishes took almost 2 hours to come out. We were all done eating. The tots were too salty, the brisket on my 19$ baked potato was greasy and overcooked. Then 1/2 way through cooking time they came out and said they were out of fish and chips which two people in the party ordered.No discounts or comps were offered or appetizers for the poor guy who watched everyone eat while he had no meal. I had to say he shouldn't be charged for his meal. Which to her credit she did comp. The waitress rushed the checks to us and seemed in a hurry to get them paid even before his food was out!! It was awful! Can't recommend at all!

The food service and our hospitality from our waitress Onie was phenomenal!!! WE BOTH HAD THE DELICIOUS CHEESE BURGERS DRIPPY YUM!! We had are little dog wi5h us and Onie was so accommodating to us Amazing I advise all make the trip up there enjoy the beautiful view and tge great food and service 10 stars Than you Onie again see you soon

After a Sunday of enjoying all things apple lol( donuts, wine, cider, walking through apple fields) me and my friends decided to find a place to eat before heading back home. We decided on kluddes iron cast since it had good reviews. I had high hopes for iron cast and although the food really was delicious, the service was incredibly slow. To be fair, when we walked in the hostess did advise us of a wait, since there was an influx of people that came( although it honestly wasn't very crowded but maybe there wasn't much staff at the time?) It did feel very homely and family friendly. We sat down and ordered our drinks/ water and that took about 10-15 min and that was after having to remind our waitress. I had my mind set on a chicken pot pie but since they were out of that I ordered the brisket baked potatoes. It was one of the best baked potatoes I've had! The brisket was tender and the green onions, cheese and bacon complimented it well. My friends enjoyed their food as well. Opportunities are in doing the little things: checking in on tables, drink refills, etc. to have the level of service match the quality of the food. Like I said it may have just been understaffed at the time and that's rhetorical reason for the a lukewarm experience overall.

Very rustic vibe with an added fun of signing their wall to say you were there. Clean bathrooms. We came for an early breakfast and had friendly service. The food was fair. I'm not sure if it was only my experience but the French toast was extremely soggy and not edible (except for the crust) - in telling the server she stated the cook said the same thing when he made some for himself. Hmmm.... The eggs were cooked well along with the bacon and hash browns. My friend ordered the pork belly but said it was very fatty and inedible. Overall a nice place. We would be willing to try something else when we are back in the area.

I saw one other person on yelp saying he went there and they were closed. We arrived at lunch time on Wednesday and they were closed with no hours posted. I also could not find a web site on yelp. One person in the area told us he opens when he feels like it. Don't count on eating there.

Best French Toast EVER! Also super cute and great service!My son enjoyed his pot pie and we loved our breakfast sandwiches.

Such a cute breakfast spot. Food was good and service was great ... so friendly so attentive answered all our questions ... definitely recommend when visiting oak glen ... we bought a mini mixed berry pie to go and it was do good

I visited today - Sunday morning - for breakfast. The service was great and friendly. Loved the food and the atmosphere. After Laws and Hawks Head (their dine-in service) closed, I've been struggling to find a good breakfast spot in Oak Glen. (don't get me started on Apple Annie's) I'm glad this place exists. I don't know what the afternoon/evening crowd looks like, but they definitely deserve more morning foot traffic. I arrived when they opened at 8:30, and by the time I left almost an hour later, there were only two other parties.

Went here for the 1st time on 11/3/24 with a friend who's been there before and loved it! Well, I was a bit hesitant when I saw no one but us in the restaurant. But, let me tell you... the was food was amazing! I had the Bbq brisket twice baked potato. It was huge, I could only eat half and it was delicious the next day. But, my friend got the smash burger(which I will try next time) I tried one of her tater tots and boy those were the best tater tots I've ever had! Service was great and super clean and cool decor. If you're ever in Oak Glen give it a try! I hear the pies are delicious too! I'll be back for sure!!!

Friendliest Service!! Great food. We had breakfast there and would definitely eat there again. Cute place, definitely worth a try !
