Kalaveras - Sunday Brunch Buffet ReviewI brought my family here for their Sunday brunch buffet, and we had a great experience! I had heard that this place can get pretty loud, but to our surprise, it was actually nice and calm when we arrived around 10:30-11 AM. I'm guessing the earlier time played a big role in that because towards the end of our meal, it did start to get busier, and the music got louder. So if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, definitely come early!Now, let's talk about the food! The buffet area is on the smaller side compared to other places, especially for the $40 per person price point, but the quality absolutely makes up for it. Everything we tried was delicious, and they even have a quesabirria station--those were insanely good! I'm also a huge fan of their agua frescas, super refreshing and flavorful.Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Great food, great vibes, and if you time it right, you can enjoy a peaceful brunch before the energy picks up. I'd definitely come back!

I recently visited Kalaveras in Moreno Valley, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing due to the lack of customer service. After being seated, what seemed to be the manager took our order, but after that, no one ever came to check on our table. There was no follow-up, no refills, and no concern for whether we needed anything.To make matters worse, our food came out wrong, which meant we had to wait even longer for our correct order. Meanwhile, we noticed a table next to us that had been seated, but no one ever came to greet them or take their order eventually, they got frustrated and left.It's one thing for a restaurant to be busy, but the complete lack of attention to customers is unacceptable. A simple check-in or acknowledgment would have made a difference, but instead, we felt ignored. The management and staff really need to work on their service, because no matter how good the food might be, bad service ruins the experience. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Super party like atmosphere. Fun and super loud. It's not a place to have conversations but if you want to have a wild party this is fantastic. I feel like the food is more like el Torito style. I'm more of an authentic Mexican food person. The food is good but not great to me. So for me I wouldn't go back here knowing my own unless i was invited to a party of some sort. I hit the fish tacos and they were really good. 4/5 starsThe beans and rice were subpar as far as flavor goes. It almost seem massed produced. 2/5 starsThe horchata is. It made from scratch and didn't taste great at all 1/5 starsThe side of street corn was very expensive for the amount you receive but it tasted good. 4/5 stars. All in I'll it's a decent place to hang out with friends to celebrate and have a lively experience. I heard the drinks from the bar are pretty good but I did t try any.

They forgot to contact us about our table being ready. We waited at 45 minutes before I finally asked and got seated, another 15 minutes before Waiter came to take our order, food came in a decent time but with no silverware the waiter said he'd be back after five minutes. I went up to the bar and asked for silverware also requested salsa and never received it. The food was absolutely excellent as always, but the service was absolutely terrible especially for Valentine's Day. The ambience was excellent with a good crowd. We have been here a few different times and the quality and service was excellent. This Valentine's Day. It was not a good experience so maybe coming in just for an average dinner is much better but I would not do it again. On such a special occasion. When we went to receive our check, the Managment said dinner was on them. It was much appreciated and unexpected, it really put me back into the aspect of giving them a great review.

The hostess was very kind and personable, the waitress and waiters were very kind and attentive, granted on Margarita Monday this location wasn't very crowded at all. The food came out so quickly and the drinks did as well. The margaritas were MARGARITA-ing lol! 10/10. The food was good. I did notice that at this location they plate the food a bit fancier than the other location in Riverside on spruce street. Overall 8/10 would recommend

I have been here for brunch two times already and both times I had great service and that ambience was nice. The food is good, I'm comparison to other brunch buffets. they don't have a large variety to select from, but it does a job. They used to have live music on Sundays, but this time around they didn't have it so I might be selective Sundays.

They charge for chis and salsa now. Per table! Should be per person when you have a group in for drinks. Just terrible.

So we come here periodically and needless to say, we always have a great dining experience.The food is out of this world. We had the Molcajete this time and believe me when I say, this had a lot of flavors and textures. Trust me when I say, put this on your must try list.The service from the entire group is top notch. Our glasses never were empty, the mixed drinks were so delicious you can't help but want more.This place has a nice Mexican feel with the New Age music that contributes to the vibe.WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!!

This place has become a staple for my friends, co-workers and I. Their service/staff is very friendly. The food and drinks are great. My favorites here are the enchiladas-both the shrimp and chicken, the pasta and the taquitos and when I have room their flan.They offer happy hour and daily specials M-Th with great deals. My friends and I have also been to their Sunday brunch which is all-you-can-eat with bottomless mimosas. The variety of food offered during brunch is amazing although the mimosas are just a tad watered down. I highly recommend checking this local favorite. Only downside is it can get noisy because they celebrate birthdays often here, but just join in on the cheering and you'll have a great time.

Came here for lunch to meet up with a good friend I hadn't seen in a long time. It was Taco Tuesday for 99 cent tacos. I ordered the asada, pollo, and barbacoa plus a side order of rice. Their chips & salsa are so addicting! We had the same waitress from my last visit so I knew we'd have excellent service. I love the decor and the big screen TVs that grace many of its walls showcasing some music videos with great beats and the customary scantily clad women. Nevertheless, the food is consistently delicious. Their raspberry tea was very refreshing. No Margarita flights during this visit. This has become a new favorite eatery.
