Juan Pollo

Juan pollo used to be that great chicken place with the best potato salad. I'm not sure what happened but I hope it can remember its true self and break out of its shell again. Really wonderful service. Very efficient and quick paced production. Interior is clean and looks the same as it has for many years. Accepts Apple Pay, bottled drinks, ice cream and patrons enjoying their meals with the indoor seating. After tasting you may be left with questions. Why isn't the chicken moist? Why is there half sized chunks of potato in the potato salad? Why is he rice clumping together? Maybe I should've got the taco? Would a burrito make the chicken more moist and flavorful? Good not great.. and I hope they can get back to great because I know I've had better from them.

As a semi-regular customer for over 12 years, I can say that I've seen this small location (you should see the huge restaurant on Euclid in Ontario) get better and better in terms of preparation and service. Today, I was pleasantly surprised when Mandy, one of the owners, asked if I was the one who took the photo that is presently featured on their Yelp profile. She guessed correctly... I prefer my soft taco platter without tomatoes ;)It used to be that my holding pattern was the half-chicken plate. The only thing that changed was that they once included three small sides per order, now two. No matter, the prices are fair and everything is always great. I discovered their chicken burritos somewhere between my first review in 2016 and now. Those are huge! And filling. My latest muse is their tacos. The crunchy ones are tasty, if a tad small. The soft taco platter, however, is so good. Filling too, they really load those up. For only $7.99 currently. It's helpful to look at the posted specials not on the menu. Sometimes paying attention will save you a buck or two.Anyhow, I'm a fan, and sometimes their 2 whole chicken family meal is what the doctor ordered. Preferably with the outstanding and unique Hot Salsa!

Ordered a breast and wing but was given thigh and drumstick. Not impressed considering I was the only person there. Busy was not a part of the problem. Too expensive to mess up the order. I won't be returning.

I went to order the large party pack for 60 people and I had 10,000 questions. I was fortunate enough to have Esmeralda helping me. She patently went thru the options and we finally finished the order. The food from Juan Pollo has never disappointed me. And now I can say the same for the customer service. Thank you Esmeralda!

Been eating here for decades! Literally since I was a child. I'm pretty sure it's under new ownership these days but the food hasn't changed a bit and it's still reasonably priced! Need a quick and delicious (and I mean QUICK!) meal for you and/or the family without breaking the bank? Juan Pollo is a fantastic option! Don't let the less than fancy appearance fool you... the taste makes up for it! (Sorry Juan pollo... the place could use a little touch up lol)

Hands down the best Potato Salad ever! Made fresh everyday. Fast friendly service and a nice convenient central location. Keep it up!

Will not ever eat at this location again and would advise you to avoid this location as well. Started with the smell as you walk through the door, figured out what the pungent smell was until I made the trip to the restroom after ordering my meal, I wanted to vomit from the overwhelming stench of sewer as if I was down in the sewer; Literally had to cover my face with my shirt. I honestly didn't want to eat there after that but on the wall, a sign read "will exchange food, no cash refunds".Chicken was decent, but the rice had no green onions or chicken pieces like other locations. And who doesn't order the potato salad? Well I got a batch of spoiled potato salad today, went up to the counter and exchanged it.. got another spoiled container of potato salad. Very disappointed. Whoever owns this franchise is killing the name and reputation of Juan Pollo.

Very bad service. Unorganized. Mobile ordering has zero accuracy. Management need to do better I personally won't be back.

The service is always fast and ready! I love the portions and it's delicious! If you just pass by a Juan pollo location and decide hmmm I should skip cooking & grab dinner it's perfect! Easy on the wallet too! Great value, taste & convenient!

I order food from this place about 3-4 times a month, usually food is good but today chicken had no flavor no salt and potato salad potatoes were not cooked all the way. Very disappointed not sure if I would order food this place again.
