Juan Pollo

(Jan. 30/25) I've been to this establishment plenty of times and have finally left a review. The establishment is easy to find and there is plenty of parking for you. When walking in, the place is always very clean and the staff is quick to greet you and help you with your order. Today, I was served by Andrea and Josh who are fantastic hosts and really make you feel welcome. They know I usually get my favorite entree and one I'd recommend to everyone called the "soft taco platter" and it's three soft tacos served with chicken, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. I always like to get my tacos with extra cheese and tomatoes. They also have this very tasty "spicy cayenne pepper sauce" that is a great compliment to any of the dishes there; especially the tacos that I frequently get to enjoy. I get the 75 cent portion because I enjoy it so much. The food is priced well for the quality and the amount that you're getting. Additionally, I want to make a shout out to Ariél for consistently making the food with quickness and according to my modifications. He even remembers me from times before and is ready to make my hearty entree with ease. Although, there may not be enough room on the inside to fit a large party, there is also seating on the outside on their location for you to enjoy as well. Think of it more like a quick stop place for you to enjoy your food and be on your merry way to your next destination.

TMI warning‼I don't know what happened but today I ordered a chicken quesadilla with potato salad. It was bomb however, I've been having diarrhea since I've ate it around 12:15pm. As a matter of fact I'm writing this review while....... relieving myself......for the third time today. Maybe you guys need to clean something? Because this doesn't make no sense. I've never had diarrhea eating from this place

My husband and I stopped to pick up lunch yesterday as we were passing through Chino. We've gotten take-out from Juan Pollo many times, but this my first review. We got Juan's big burrito with chicken. It was decent, but there wasn't much flavor. The salsa definitely helped. Their potato salad is always good and never disappoints. I prefer their rotisserie chicken with beans and potato salad. This location is really nice with lots of tables. Some of their other locations are take-out only.

Few chickens out there taste so intensely of chicken than those pulled from the rotisserie at Juan Pollo. There are citrusy birds and herbaceous birds and heavily sauced birds, but Juan Pollo serves up chicken qua chicken. The skin is really too perfect for a fast food place. But if there is one gripe, it is the result of the entire chicken being treated as one single ingredient, so that when the dark meat reaches perfection, the white meat has been overcooked for a long time. But that's easy enough to ameliorate: order only thighs and legs.As for the sides, they offer a three card Monty of side dishes; two are transcendent, one is banal. You'll want to select the rice and potato salad, leaving the beans back in their pot where they belong. The potato salad consistently wins over everyone who tries it, myself included, though I'm not sure why. From what I can tell, it's essentially cold mashed potatoes with heaps of mayo and scant bits of canned black olive, green onion and shaved carrot, yet it continues to reach the ideal for potato salad every time. You really never want to eat potato salad prepared any other way. And the rice, imbued with chicken bits and bullion is such an Umami attack, it's really not surprising that this regional chain was founded by a Japanese American.The founder, the late Albert Okura, was something of an original. If you visit the Chino location, all the Juan Pollo heritage is tacked up on the wall for your wonder and amazement. You can see how they used to throw parades and hold Miss Juan Pollo beauty pageants. Okura even purchased the town of Amboy with the intention of turning it into a Route 66 amusement park. Okura led the life of a local legend.Ps. When asked whether you want hot or mild salsa, always select hot. It is, after all, a classic tomatoey Cal-Mex style salsa, therefore not really all that hot - yet still delicious. This might only be my preference, but I think their food goes better with flour tortillas rather than corn, so I suggest selecting flour, although this may only be a matter of opinion.

Stopped by to pick up some potato salad ,in my opinion Juan Pollo has the best potato salad in regards to fast food, grocer potato salads . Quarter tub of potato salad was enough for us and it taste very good. They have many food items on the menu.The service was courteous and friendly, and we received our order in no time. There's inside dining and outside dining, plenty of tables and chairs to sit down and enjoy your meal and there's plenty of parking . The handicap stalls are by the front entrance.

Great service, friendly staff and better tasting than other JP locations.Excellent quality and freshness.Cashier was very good - even included extra coupons.

I just needed to grab some beans for my chili Verde that I'm making tonight. After getting tea at Boba break, we walked over to Juan Pollo. Medium side of beans was 5 something. I also asked for a small side of hot salsa, which was complementary.It wasn't busy the ladies working were pleasant.

Much better than other certain chicken restaurants that are more prevalent. Fast service

The chicken was delicious. We also had the salad. It's a good size for 2-3 people. But the beans were very salty. Everyone is very friendly and they acknowledge you as soon as you walk in.

Very much enjoyed the pollo and potato salad, but had to throw away the rice. The rice was over cooked and not worth driving back to request a refund
