Johnny's Burgers

Food is great, service is awesome! Recommend the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings with ranch!

Johnny's is strictly a drive through, pick up burger place. There are 3-tables inside, just for people waiting to pick up their food. There is no dine in ability, which is why we came in. The place is clean, we are quickly recognized and give our order. The bathrooms are newly remodeled with ceramic tile, and very clean. Our burgers are ready in 6-minutes. We go to park a cross the street and find there are two enter arrows and no exit arrows. So, a bit confusing when you exit tightly against the drive through entrance.The burgers are great, the zucchini is perfectly cooked crispy and they give you a ton. Food and service is a 5, but the ambiance, which ends up eating out in the parking lot or in your car is poor.I don't ever recall entering a restaurant with no place to sit. So odds are I will never come back. But if I'm on the run, this drive through is the place to go. Plus it was busier than in and out across the street. So that says something.

There food is amazing I went there last week but was closed because of a fire. I heard they have one now at the plaza. The wait is well worth it

Burgers were really good and the fries were very crispy, friendly customer service. Me and my family ordered 4 single burger combos through the drive thru and were told to wait on the side. Nothing negative to add or takeaway really solid burger spot!

Last Friday, I volunteered at Feeding America in Riverside. I love to volunteer! I would do it more frequently if I live closer. Anyway, between the morning and afternoon shifts, I headed out for lunch. I couldn't decide where to go so I asked the Volunteer Coordinator where he normally goes for lunch. He said Johnny's Burgers. So here I am...Johnny's Burgers is a very small joint with a drive-thru. By the way, indoor dining is closed at this time. However, you can still walk in to order if you choose. You just can't dine in it. You can wait in it for your order though... yes I asked LOL. Drive-thru was very busy. I don't know how so many cars manage to get through the small space, but they do. Anyway, I decided to walk in and order. They don't just serve burgers... they offer pastrami, chicken & fish sandwiches, fries, fried zucchini, onion rings, and much more. I ended up getting the grilled chicken sandwich (they also have a fried option), fish sandwich (fried cod), and fried zucchini... a lot for one person, right?... not for me LOL... I always order extras for another meal.I love the fish sandwich... it was very tasty with fresh lettuce + tomatoes, but fish patty could have been thicker. It was a tad thin IMHO. Chicken sandwich had a good size filet, but was a tad dry. Fried zucchinis was the B*MB! They were covered with a light and delicious batter... so yummy! Ranch dressing was very light and tasty... I could drink it LOL... just perfect! And the portion was huge... big o bag worth of zucchinis! Though zucchinis could have be a bit firmer LOL. I couldn't eat everything so I brought home half grilled chicken sandwich and half fried zucchini... I know I still ate a lot LOL. Hey, I was busting my b*tt at Feeding America... gotta regain some energy for the afternoon shift!Staff was pleasant and helpful in answering my questions. Kitchen was small and there were about 7 people in there cooking up a storm. Everyone was working non-stop to get the orders out. They are one well oiled machine LOL! They remind me of EZ Take Out Burgers in Upland. Prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere is okay. Parking is available. They are located at the corner of the block. You can enter through both adjacent sides of the lot. I will definitely be back for more Johnny's the next time I'm in the neighborhood. Happy Eating!

I went in to order a combo burrito and I waited almost 10 minutes and then I was told the fixing would not be ready to make the burrito would not be ready for another 10 minutes. So they ask if I wanted to order something else, so ordered a pastrami sandwich which cost more and it was plain kinda dry as well. So no I won't be returning not for me.

Ordered a combo burger (pastrami). Pastrami was cut too thick for our liking, but other than that it was good. Also got a bacon cheeseburger - absolutely no complaints. It was delicious. Zucchini was really good! A little confused that they didn't have chili cheese fries (which was what we really wanted) but had chili dogs and a cup of chili on their menu...? Not sure why there were TEN employees in the kitchen - keep in mind this is take out only. We will be back and give it another shot for sure.

Hamburger are the best in Riverside it's always busy you can never go wrong with Johnny's Burger

Miss you guys. Been coming here since, what, '93, hope you can reopen soon. You are the best.
