Our favorite sushi spot in Riverside by far. We've gone to basically every sushi joint within Riverside and Joe's is the one that has consistently brought us back.Their staff is incredible and friendly.Their chefs are masters of their craft.Portion sizes are just right. They brought back all you can eat.Pricing is second to none and they don't overwhelm their rolls and sushi with too much rice to fill you up.Their muscles are succulent and fresh, unlike some of the other restaurants whose muscles are pre made and kind of dry.Our favorite items are the pepper salmon, the always classic Philly roll, the tamago, and the pink lady roll.Inside the restaurant, it is clean and quiet. Three TVs are usually playing things like golf or a nature channel making for a child friendly environment as well.Sara, Danny, Brianna, and Amy handle the front of house and are extremely friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an affordable yet quality sushi experience in the inland empire, look no further.Joes sushi is where it's at.

We've been coming to Joe's for nearly two decades and they have quality rolls. We were rushed, which is wack because we're from the area.

One of my favorite family-owned sushi places in riverside. Sushi is always fresh. No more AYCE , But 50% off specials on sushi is just as good ! Joes sushi's customer service is always very attentive and quick . Servers always very helpful with helping me try new items from the menu. This is a good location for a relaxed sushi date with friends or family . I'm not a huge fan of the fried sushi, they are way too breaded for my preference, I opt for more fresh ingredients on my sushi . The dining is cozy and very clean at all times . Plenty of gravel parking offered. Conveniently located off the 91fwy- van buren exit in the intersection of van buren and magnolia , it can't be missed !

AYCE is back!!! This was my go to spot years ago and for some reason I stopped coming. Decided to come back today for lunch and it did not disappoint! The fish was so fresh and the rolls were so lite. The service was amazing! Sara was beyond helpful and attentive! Restaurant is clean and the Sushi Chefs were great! Can't wait to be back for round 4!

THE BEST SUSHI YOU CAN EVER HAVE. I've had the cheapest, to the most expensive money can buy. And I have to say, Joes is top 5 on my list. I've been coming here for years and have never left unsatisfied. The service is amazing and attentive. Will forever love this place.

All rolls pretty much 50% off. Cheap prices. So-so quality sushi. Ordered 4 different rolls. The rice was a tad mushy and the freshness wasn't there. Anything fried or baked didn't have a crunch to it. It was decent for the price, but I'd pay a lil more for better quality. Service was good. Waitresses are very tentative. Don't think I'll be coming back tho.

It was my third time to this restaurant and I was so dissatisfied with my overall experience. We called ahead to see when seating closed and they said 9 so we arrived a little past 8 so that we can be seated order and eat before 9. However, as soon as we arrived the host/server got irritated at the fact that we arrived past 8 when she told us the seating closed at 9. She sat us down and told us in an aggravated tone that we need to order fast and that the kitchen was about to close. Which is standard if they are trying to close a restaurant which I would have understood, but her tone just sounded so rushed and we felt like we had to leave as soon as we got seated. We ordered our favorites and some more items that we were curious about and the food came out really quick. However, table was already "closed" by the time we got there so we had to ask for some soy sauce and other things as we watched them buss other tables. Our food came out and everything tasted fine except for the supposed to be fresh pieces of sushi coming out warm and our2 volcano rolls not coming out fully cooked and still cold to the touch. As we ate our food they bussed our food away after barely asking and took it when there was one piece on each of the plates. In addition, within 5~10 mins of us getting our food we were handed our check, which again is understandable; until, I saw that there was an added gratuity that was not there the previous time I visited (1 month prior) and got upset at the fact that it was not mentioned when we were being seated or mentioned at all.Overall, I've wanted to support this Korean owned small business as the food is on the better end of asian spots in the IE area and the restaurant has a really cozy vibe to it which I thoroughly enjoy. Since being invited to eat there with my friend the first time, every time after I have tried to invite new people to spread the word about the small business. Unfortunately, while I was there at the last stay I heard them talking loudly in Korean stating why customers were coming in really late and also blaming us for being there altogether. A couple of small disses pointed towards our table, it caught me off guard and made me disappointed that I believed in this restaurant and slowly throughout the meal lost my appetite slowly. I'm cutting them some leniency since it was New Year's Day but the lack of communication, poor service, the badmouthing and the overall rush for us to leave ( we ate all the food within 15 mins and packed the rest for togo) is the reason for the two star review. Hope they read this and learn a lesson or two on being better owners/staff.
