Our favorite Italian Restaurant in the Riverside/Moreno Valley area. Excellent Pizza, Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo/ huge portions (fried Calimari -excellent and biggest portion I've seen in any restaurant)Staff are always in a good mood, attentive. I really couldn't ask more of a restaurant. Been coming here for 20+ years. Never disappointed.

It was my first time here at this restaurant and it was recommended, we walked in and they were very nice. the customer service was ok, when the food arrived it looked good, I ordered the carbonara which had no flavor to it, another dish my friend had ordered was the ravioli baked with meatballs, within an hour of eating the food we got sick, and I mean really bad, throwing up stomach pains, and restroom issues. It is unfortunate.

My bf and I decided to do takeout as he was craving pasta. He ordered the chicken Alfredo and I ordered the carbonara. We also ordered calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was good. It came in a large portion. Even between the two of us, it looked like we barely made a dent it in. Both pasta dishes came with garlic bread which was also decent. The Alfredo was really saucy but a little plain. I felt like my carbonara lacked flavor. It was decent, but not for the price (we paid $52 total).

Joe's Italian Restaurant is a quaint restaurant offering a variety of dishes and large portions that's perfect for lunch or dinner.LOCATIONThis restaurant is nestled between the border of Moreno Valley and Riverside on Alessandro Blvd. SERVICEThe service here is great and Arturo is such an awesome server.FOODHere's a few of our favorite dishes:* SPAGHETTI PACIFIC - A fan favorite for all the seafood lovers. It has crab meat, clams and jumbo shrimp! My favorite dish here. Delicious!* SPAGHETTI SORRENTO - This red sauce has a lemony taste and very delicious too. Similar to the Pacific, this too includes seafood with the addition of mussels and squid.* MARGHERITA PIZZA - One of my favorite versions of the Margarita Pizza is from Joe's. The fresh tomatoes and basil give it a quality taste. And the pizza dough is nice and chewy.* MEAT LASAGNA - Bold flavors! I love when I get to the ricotta - super creamy, meaty and just flavorful!* FETTUCCINE ALFREDO - I've tried both versions with Chicken and with Shrimp, and my preference is with the Shrimp. Although, the Chicken version is also pretty tasty.* FRIED CALAMARI - This is the way I prefer my fried calamari: lightly battered, slightly seasoned, and paired with a delicious homemade marinara sauce. A squeeze of lemon adds just the right acidity.PARKINGJoe's has their own parking and it is plentiful. Please drive slowly and carefully when entering and exiting the property, as the entrance door is right at the entrance/exit. Overall, great food, wonderful service, and large portions perfect for groups (or save the leftovers for another meal).

Very nice Italian family style restaurant. Kid friendly, good menu selection of meat, seafood and pastas with portions on the large size. Almost every table people had pizza and pasta entrees. Service was great although it might get slow when it is packed. Lighting is not bright like chain restaurants. Joe's is well worth a visit for original Italian food.

By far the worst experience I've had... We were a family of 5, my sister was party of 3 (SEPARATE CHECKS). This establishment charges 18% gratuity fee, regardless if you have separate checks. Waiter was quick to point me to manager, yet could not explain why 18 % gratuity is changed on both checks. Forget trying to speak with manager, he could not explain. He just kept showing me menu display. I could not believe this place is changing 18% gratuity on everyone's check, regardless party size. If I'm not mistaken gratuity is not mandatory, it's patrons decision to give or not. The portion sizes are big, but food is salty to say the least. The cheese bread was nothing special, just slices of cheese melted on texas toast bread. Forgot trying to have a pleasant time, we felt rushed, waiter was so rushed to pick up silver wear and plates. At no point were we even asked if I was done with an appetizer, just took the plate. Did not ask once if we needed anything, was more concerned in cleaning table while we sat and still ate. Never returning........
